Louis:  ‘Fast Cars and Freedom’

Starin’ at you takin’ off your makeup
Wondering why you even put it on
I know you think you do but baby you don’t need it
Wish that you could see what I see it when it’s gone

Being friends since 5 years old means that you and Louis have seen each other at your worst and at your best. So here you were after a date which was something you guys didn’t get to do very much anymore considering you had four kids. You were taking off your makeup while he was brushing his teeth. He watched you in the mirror and even after all these years being friends/together he still gave you butterflies.

“Why are you watching me?” You asked giggling like you guys were still in high school.

“I just don’t get how you still wear all that make up around me even after all these years.” He began wiping his mouth as he was done brushing his teeth. “You don’t need all that.”

You blushed like you used to when your relationship was still fresh and bit your lip.

“Thank you.” You began with a smile. “I guess it’s just a girl thing.”

Just then he got a crazy idea and ran into the bedroom. His mom had your kids so the house was empty. You cock your eyebrow watching him run to the radio. He flipped on the CD player and turned up the volume. When he found what he was looking for he turned towards you and told you to come hither. You walked over to him as the song he picked started playing. The two of you danced around the bedroom to ‘Fast Cars And Freedom’ as he sang to you. By the end of the song the two of you were out of breath and laughing like kids.

“You will always be just as beautiful as that first day I asked you to be mine when we were 22.” He began wrapping his arms around your stomach. “You don’t need that make up to be beautiful.”

“Thank you Louis.” You blushed. “How did I get so lucky?”

“I am pretty awesome aren’t I?” He questioned making you laugh. “But so are you.”
