Harry: Her feet always aim for the fallen leaves, stepping on as many as she could. Her hand never left mine, as did the grin on her face. Sometimes she’d challenge me, betting she could crunch more beneath her feet than I. Her hair whips around her face from the wind, cheeks occasionally tinting a light pink. Boots were her favorite things to wear, along with my sweaters and leggings. I had always told her my favorite season was summer, but it was secretly autumn, because I could always see the smile on her face.
Niall: My head would peek over the blanket of leaves that left my body hidden, watching her scatter around the yard for more foliage. When she ran back over I would lay still, letting her drop the leaves around my feet. She’d scream when I would jump up, chasing her around and around until we both tumbled into the pile. We always turned into children, sitting across from each other and throwing leaves in the others direction. She sometimes lunged forward, stuffing some down my shirt. I’d shoot up, shaking the leaves from me and tackling her down again.
Louis: Her petite hands would wrap around a latte, sipping the pumpkin spice carefully. A muffin would sit between us, matching the flavoring of our drinks. “I love pumpkin,” she’d mumble, smiling. “You’re my pumpkin,” I’d say, reaching over and bopping her nose. We went on these little dates very often, knowing we each adored the fall taste.
Zayn: The mosquitoes always filled our ears, surrounding us on the back porch in the night. I’d occasionally glance up, finding her lip tucked between her teeth as she slowly carved out patterns into her pumpkin. Her’s were the same every year, tiny hearts cut around the entire surface. Mine varied depending on what was on my mind, but tonight ours were both different. Revealing them to one another, I found that her’s now had our first initials in the front and she was surprised to find a question mark carved into mine. Even more so when I knelt in front of her.
Liam: As the years went by, Halloween became (Y/N) and I’s favorite holiday. We’d plan months in advanced for our costumes, almost always matching in some way. One year, it was the Flintstones. This choice gave us the opportunity to make our costume, buying the biggest shirts we could find and slicing them up. With messy hair and ties to match, we roamed Louis’ annual Halloween party, making that year one of my favorites. But it didn’t matter to me, because as long as I spent the night with (Y/N) at my side, anything would suffice.
