Love Me Genisis

Chapter 6

It had been a whole month since Roman had his intimate night with Genisis. He stood staring down at his fiancé, Patricia, as she slept in their bed with a scowl after their twelfth argument this month. Yeah he was keeping count. He turned to leave and over his shoulder he heard her venomous voice.

"That's right. Go on to your bitch." Patricia spat.

He pretended not to hear her. He clenched his fist at her disrespect of Genisis. But he continued to walk out the door. He walked out to his Jeep & hopped in. His tires screeched as he quickly pulled out of the parking lot heading to Genisis.

Almost an hour later he pulled into her driveway and she stood outside with Baby on a leash. He smiled as he hopped out his Jeep & headed her way.

"What are you doing out here?" he asked.

She pointed to Baby sniffing around a rose bush. He couldn't help but notice she hasn't kissed him or even smiled at him. She wouldn't even look at him. Baby used the bathroom and she called out to the dog.

"What's wrong?" he asked her.

She removed Baby's leash as she let him into the house. She finally looked up and her eyes were full of something he couldn't name. But they weren't as bright as usual. She prepared to step into the house.

"I'm pregnant." Genisis admitted softly.

Shock! Roman literally felt like he'd been struck by lightening. He watched her walk into the house as he tried to quiet his thundering heartbeat. He felt like he was in a trance as he followed her. He watched her shoo Baby to bed and turn to him as he locked the door. Her posture was tense. Almost defensive as she crossed her arms over her tummy and plead with her eyes for him to say something.

He walked over to her slowly and dropped to his knees in front of her. He gently tugged her arms away from her middle and pressed his ear to her stomach. He embraced her tenderly and his eyes closed. She ran her fingers through his hair and a smile spread across his face.

"Pregnant." was all he managed to say.

She silently cried as she stood in his embrace. He slowly stood and wiped away her tears. He scooped her up in his arms and carried her up to her bedroom. He placed her in bed and quickly undressed himself. He climbed in bed with her and rested his head on her stomach again.

Genisis watched as he whispered to her belly. Talking to their baby. Their love child. He suddenly sat up and looked to her face. His eyes were filled with fear.

"You're not going to kill our baby are you?" he asked with a hint of fear evident in his voice.

Genisis looked at him crazy and said, "No! Why would you think that?!"

"Thank God." he said relieved. "The way you looked when I arrived scared me."

He kissed her lips and she smiled before kissing him again. She touched his stubbled jaw and stared into his bright eyes as she replied, "It's a little early for me. But I love the idea of us being joined to each other in such a way."

He returned to his position with his head on her stomach and quickly drifted off into his dreams.

Genisis remained awake awhile. Something in her said things were about to take a turn. Whether it was for the worst or for better she didn't yet know. All she knew was that she was falling in love with this man. And she knew she couldn't stop herself even if she wanted to.

Meanwhile Alice lay in bed with her husband having a nervous breakdown. She'd heard Miss Gen say 'it's positive' in her office today. What was positive? A pregnancy test? Was it Roman's? What do you mean is it Roman's? Of course it is. Miss Gen isn't like that. Oh God she's gone get hormonal and fire her on principles because she knew. Lord help Roman. Lord please help Miss Gen be strong.

Okay here's another chapter.

Patricia is the woman in the picture. Well I picture her that way.

About Patricia. She knows about Genisis? So why is she staying? Think she'll go off on our girl Gen?

Roman should really tell Genisis his secret.
