Genisis stepped out on her porch wearing her workout clothes. Seeing as they'd never been worn she figured why not do a light walk around the yard seeing as it was huge and she wasn't ready to be seen around the streets. She looked to Baby who waited expectantly in the center of the yard. Taylar had run off with Rose somewhere. So she was all alone. With exception of Baby. So she set off for her first lap.

Brian knocked on Genisis front door for the third time to get no response yet again. He glanced over at her red Jeep. She was definitely home seeing as she didn't ride with anybody but Sitra who he saw in town by herself. He listened harder and could've sworn he heard Genisis say something. He walked around the side of the house as Genisis turned and began walking around the side of the backyard. He smiled as he noticed Baby trailing along beside her.

"What the world is she doing?" he asked himself.

He jogged over and began walking next to her.

"Why didn't you tell me you were gonna work out?" he asked her.

She jumped slightly before looking up at him. She smirked as she continued walking.

"I'm not exactly ready for your routine," she answered. "If you hadn't noticed I'm a big girl."

He glanced at her and said, "You say that like its disgusting. But I'll ignore that for now. We could walk you know?"

They continued walking. But Baby turned to go into the house.

"At least I out lasted Baby," she joked. "Lazy dog. But do soldiers even walk?"

"Marine," he corrected. "And yeah. We walk on our cheat days. But I can walk with you whenever you want. I can always change my run to a night run."

She laughed at his correction. What was it with Marines not wanting to be soldiers? Her brother was the same way. He looked great slowing his stride to allow her easy breathing. She shrugged at him.

He smiled and asked, "Is that a yes? You'll join me?"

She nodded and he took her hand leading her to the house.

"Why are we going inside?" she quizzed.

"Well first we're going to change your attire," he explained. "Guys would wreck trying to look at you in that. Too much good for them to see. Plus we need to get that lazy couch potato you call a dog in gear with us."

She smiled up at him. He was a sweet guy. Why did she feel so wrong for liking him? Soon they were both walking along the dirt roads and dragging Baby along behind them. Every now and then he'd stop and do pushups & encourage her to do one or two. Before she knew it they were coming up on her house again. She smiled at the pain in her legs. She hadn't noticed it during their walk because Brian was just so fun to talk to.

"So same time tomorrow?" Brian asked.

She stepped onto her newly painted porch.

"You can come in to have a drink." she said almost too quickly.

He followed her inside and waited for her to give him a bottle of water as she said, "Oh yeah. Same time tomorrow. If my legs have stopped burning by then."

She laughed and he walked around to the fruit bowl. He grabbed an orange an looked to her as he said, "Eat an orange before we go tomorrow. It'll help your muscles with the strain of a workout."

"Thanks," she replied flatly. "Could've told me that earlier. Can I trouble you to massage my calves? They're killing me."

He nodded and followed her out onto the porch. He sat on the top step with her and they got comfortable after she placed her legs over his thighs. He went to work massaging her muscles. They were very tight. He was surprised she wasn't acting as if she was in a lot of pain. He looked up at her face and she had her eyes closed with her head tilted back against the post.
