*Arran's pov*
We pull up into Robbie's driveway and Emma parks the car. I jump out quickly, shut my door, and run over to open her door for her. She smiles and I help her down. I close the door for her and we walk inside Robbie's house. Tony is lying on the couch knocked out and his knuckles are a bit raw.
I sigh and look around for Robbie.
"Robbie!" I shout.
"Up here!" I hear back. I walk up the stairs, Emma following me. I walk into his bedroom to find him standing by the window, smoking a cigarette. I frown. He only smokes cigarettes when he's stressed.
"Emma, can I talk to Robbie alone for two minutes?" I ask. She looks at me and her brows furrow, but she nods.
"Sure. I'll be downstairs and watching Tony."
"Okay, thanks." I say smiling. I kiss her forehead and she leaves the room. I close the door behind her. I turn to look at Robbie.
"She was here," he says after a moment. I feel my face pale.
"So our suspicions are correct?"
"Yeah, she tried to break in last night, but Justin scared her off."
"What the hell does she want?" I ask pissed.
"I have no idea," Robbie shrugs. "All I know is that Meagan told her dad about it and he's got a warrant for her arrest."
"I mean, I get Kallie was a psychotic bitch, but I didn't think she would bring it this far."
"Justin said she was mumbling about 'making things right' and 'getting him back'."
I groan in frustration. "She's turned into a stalker."
"Yeah. A stalker that is after you and most likely Emma."
I feel my face pale a little bit. "What do I do?" I ask.
"I have no idea." Robbie says, shaking his head. "Don't your parents own a house down by a lake?"
"Yeah but I don't know if her dad would be happy about that..."
"Try and convince him, or maybe lie to him. Get Meagan to cover for her. Spring break is coming up next week. Just have her say Meagan and her are going to go out of town for the week to visit Meagan's grandparents. "
I raise an eyebrow at him and think over the plan. "Do you think Meagan's dad will find Kallie in time?"
"Probably." Robbie shrugs. "He's the lead detective and if it's important to Meagan, it's important to him."
I sigh exasperated. "Okay. You and Sarah want to come too? I feel like you guys could use a vacation as well."
"That sounds excellent." he says nodding. I grin.
"Okay. I'll have to figure all of this out. Although considering the point you brought up earlier, I would be way more comfortable if I had Emma in arms reach."
Robbie chuckles and shoos me away.
"Go on lover boy."
I smile a little and then walk downstairs. Emma is staring at Tony and I can tell she's deep in thought.
"Hey, sorry about that." I say smiling. "What are you thinking about?"
She shrugs and pushes a stray hand of hair behind her ear. "Nothing really."
"You are still a really bad liar, even after the two and a half months that we've been dating. You'd think being around me would improve your lying skills." I smirk.
