*Arran's pov*
I stare at the door where Emma has just left. She hit me. No girl has ever hit me. Did I deserve it? Yeah. But I've deserved it before, so why is she the first girl to do it? No other girl would dare have done that. Although I was dating those girls for real. This is just a bet.
We all stand there in silence. I hear Kallie stand up behind me and put her hand on my shoulder.
"It's okay, baby." she says in a seductive voice. I pull away from her.
"Leave." I growl.
"Excuse me?" she asks.
"LEAVE!" I yell as I point towards the door. "Get your shit and leave!"
She looks taken back, but then scoffs. "Whatever. You had your chance."
She walks into the kitchen, grabs her bag, and then leaves out the front door without another word.
I look up at Robbie and Tony who are both stoned face now. I look back down and then walk out and into the backyard. I step onto the patio and close my eyes in frustration.
Emma doesn't know what happened at all. She doesn't know that Kallie pushed me onto the bed. She doesn't know that Kallie forced herself onto me. She doesn't know the hell that I was in. She has no idea what happened. She didn't even give me the chance to explain myself to her. The only thing she knows is that Kallie was grinding on me.
I open my eyes and push back the pain that continuously stabs at my chest. I was so close...
"Dude, are you okay?" I hear a voice ask from behind me. I rub my hand down my face and then sigh.
"Yes, Robbie. Everything is peachy keen."
I hear Robbie chuckle a little. "Yeah, stupid question, wasn't it?"
"No shit."
"Hey, dude, chill." Robbie says. He stands next to me as I look at his pool, watching the ripples of water that are being caused by the wind. Silence surrounds us.
"She's gone." I say finally. I feel Robbie's hand pat my shoulder.
"Dude, there are plenty more fish in the sea. Besides, I thought this was just a bet."
"Robbie, you know it was never a bet to begin with."
"I know," he chuckles. "I know."
"Why did you tell her about my past?" I ask as I look at him.
"What?"
"You told her guys like me don't change overnight. Why did you tell her that?"
"I... I don't know." he sighs. "I was simply making a statement. I didn't think I was digging a seed in her head."
"Yeah well you did. As soon as she saw Kallie grinding on me, forcefully I may add, the first words out of her mouth were 'Robbie was right'."
Robbie frowns. "I'm sorry. I fucked up, didn't I?"
"We both did," I sigh. "I shouldn't have let Kallie trick me like she did."
"How did you guys even get alone in my room?" Robbie asks.
"I heard Kallie crying. Like full blown sobbing. I wanted to make sure she wasn't hurt." I frown. "It was a stupid idea."
"Well what happened has happened." Robbie sighs. "Now what are you going to do?"
"I don't know." I say. "That was my one chance to be with her, Robbie."
"Hey, you can't give up. We'll figure something out."
