I wake up to the sound that I have woken up to for the past two months. Yes. Two months. I yawn and stretch my back as I sit up. I then check my phone and smile. Arran's waiting for me and I have 15 minutes to get ready. I get up and quickly do my morning routine- Pee, brush teeth, brush hair, makeup- and then pick my clothes for the day.
Hmm, fancy dress or leggings and a T-shirt? This is a no brainer. I put on my favorite pair of black leggings and a T-shirt that says "Eat a lot Sleep a lot" on it. I put on my trusty pair of white converse, I grab my phone, and I'm out of the house with five minutes to spare.
Arran is leaning against his mercedes wearing some casual clothing as well; a black shirt with the sleeves rolled up and some jeans. He stands up and kisses me on the forehead before we both get in the car and head out for school. He holds my hand the entire way there.
When we get there he opens the door for me and helps me out. We've been dating for two months and he still acts like a gentleman. We walk into school, hand in hand, and towards my locker. By now, everyone is used to us dating. And I am 100% fine with that. We walk together, we eat lunch together, we do basically everything together when he's here.
I open my locker and set everything in there. I grab what I need and then close my locker. I take Arran's hand and we walk to my first period class.
"You know, I haven't been bullied for over a month now," I giggle. "You don't need to be my bodyguard anymore."
"As long as we're together, I will always protect you."
I sigh. I only have three months with him. Although, I feel like the bet was kind of called off when Arran asked me to prom. There is no way that was just part of the bet... was it?
Arran leans me against the doorway and kisses me on the forehead softly.
"I'll see you next passing period."
"Okay," I smile and then I walk into class. I sit down and lean back, opening up a book that I started a few days ago.
I may be dating Arran, the bad boy of the school, but I still love me a good book. I'm still a bookworm. I don't think that'll ever change.
"So," I hear a voice say behind me. Her voice used to effect me, but now it does almost nothing. If anything it's just annoying.
"So?" I ask, not looking away from my book.
"So how much have you been paying him to stay with you?" I hear Victoria's snide comment. I roll my eyes.
"I don't know what you mean." I say, still not looking up at her.
I hear her stand up and before I know it, my book is thrown across the room. I look up at her, but really just with annoyance.
"I mean, how many bj's have you done? There's no way he's staying with you by his free will. There must be some sort of deal."
I look at her, amused.
"Deal?" I snort. She narrows her eyes at me.
"Yeah. Why would he stay with a fatty like you?" she says. I feel a little pain in my chest, but it resolves quickly.
"Victoria, I get that you're just cranky from the lack of sex you've been having. I mean you were banging that dude every night, and you were banging the other guy on the weekends. But now that they've both abandoned you for someone better, you don't get laid much, do you?" I state simply. "I don't blame you. I'm sure I would be grumpy too after being so used to getting passed around like a sex doll."
Man, did that feel good to say.
She gapes at me and I can literally see the steam coming out of her ears.
