I turn around and poke his chest playfully.
"You." I grin.
"Yes me, sweetheart." he chuckles. I shake my head, smiling from ear to ear.
"How did you manage to pull this off?" I ask.
"I have my ways." he smirks.
I roll my eyes. I kiss him softly on the lips and then walk over to my grandma, my hand intertwined with Arran's. I visit with her, introduce Arran, and of course she falls in love with him right away. She smiles and I'm surprised by how much of a gentleman he is with her. She shakes his hand and he nods his head to her. We then chat with dad for a little bit before we go over to the gang.
Robbie and Sarah have figured everything out now and they are a happy couple once more. Meagan is leaning on Tony, his head on top of hers. Allie and I talk for a bit and then I just lean on Arran while he chats with Robbie and Justin. It's nice and calm here, and I love it so much. This is the perfect pre-graduation party. I feel my heart throb when I think about the fact that Arran set this all up. I swear my big bad boy is just a big teddy bear.
I look over at the punch bowl and decide that I'm thirsty.
"Hey, I'm going to go get a drink." I smile.
"Okay." Arran says. I kiss him on the lips quickly and then walk over to the table. I pour me a glass and turn around to walk back when I hear leaves rustling. My interest is peaked and I quietly follow the noise. I turn around the bush and again am stopped in my tracks for the second time tonight, my jaw dropping wide.
No. Way.
I see Cole pushed against the tree, but that isn't what shocks me.
It's what's going on.
I watch in shock as Cole kisses a guy, not much older than I am, passionately. Cole's hands are pinned above his head and the guy's lips are almost everywhere on Cole's face and neck. His nose, his jaw, his mouth. Cole turns his head to give the guy access to his neck when his eyes meet mine.
"Shit." he whispers. The guy looks at where Cole is and I meet his eyes too. I look back and forth, and I can tell my eyes are as big as baseballs.
"Uh, sorry." I say suddenly. "Wrong way."
I slowly back up and then quickly walk over to Arran.
I just saw my brother making out with another guy.
I close my eyes as I make it back to Arran. I open them again to find Arran looking at me with his eyebrows raised.
"I thought you were going to get a drink?"
My brows furrow and I look down at my empty hand. I must have dropped the glass when I saw my brother making out with a guy.
Can you blame me?
"Oh," I say shocked. "Um, I finished it." I say quickly. Arran looks at me but decides not to probe. I sigh a little. That was close.
I feel a tap on my shoulder and I turn around to see Cole. His face is beat red and his hair is a little messy.
"Can I talk to you?" he asks. "Alone?"
I nod my head, not able to say anything.
Cole grabs my hand and pulls me to the side. I signal five minutes when I see Arran look at me. He nods his head and turns back. Cole pulls me over to one of the trees. We stand there awkwardly. I finally speak up.
"It's a lovely party," I say.
He looks at me and sort of laughs a nervous laugh."Sure is." he smiles. He runs his hand through his hair and looks down at his feet. I look at him.
