Chapter 9!!!

Hayden's P.O.V

I practically sprinted to my house, the tears rushing down my face like Niagra Falls. Why did Louis have to do that!

When I finally reached my house I unlocked the door and ran up to my room. I locked the door behind me and flung myself onto my bed crying into my pillow.

I can't believe that I was all apart of some bet! I mean why else would he kiss me. Rebecca was right. If I would have just listened to her in the first place I wouldn't be crying right now.

I don't even know why I was crying anyway. I should have known he was just being nice to me so he could break my heart. How dare him do that to me! Now all the tears were gone and I was just plain angry at Louis for what he did. How could he mess with so many girls hearts and think that this was okay?

Well there isn't any point being angry or upset I guess. What's done is done. Looks like I was right the first time. Louis is nothing more than a player. I'm just worried what it will be like at school tomorrow.

I woke up the next morning before my alarm went off. I guess that meant I didn't have to rush to get ready.

I went into the bathroom first to brush my teeth and then take a shower. Since I had a bit more time than usual I decided to curl my hair.

Next I chose an outfit. It was a bit chilly I decided on some black leggings, a white v-neck, a red plaid flannel, and my combat boots.

You couldn't really see my bruises today so I decided to skip my usual routine with the foundation and just apply a little bit if brown eyeliner and a thin coat of mascara.

I walked over to examine myself and I didn't look that bad if I do say so myself. I just grabbed a granola bar for breakfast and walked out the door to school.

I was a bit worried to go to school and even debated whether I should ditch or just stay. I had an exam today which is pretty much the only reason I stayed.

As I walked in the building I didn't see any sign of Louis which was good. Maybe he decided not to come.

I must have spoken to soon because just as that thought left my mind I heard it. His laugh. Great.

I rushed down the hall so we wouldn't have to walk into class together. Luckily I got there just before he did. I took my seat and completely ignored him when he walked in.

*Louis P.O.V*

Hayden was obviously still mad at me from yesterday. She didn't even look at me when I walked into class. I knew that I needed to fix this but I'll have to wait for this period to end. I can't stand to see her mad at me. It almost made me feel guilty.

The class seemed to drag on and on. And to make it even worse, Hayden wouldn't even look at me. It felt like 4 hours had gone by when the bell finally rang. Thank The Lord. Alright now is my chance. Here goes nothing.

Hayden's P.O.V

The rest of the class went well and I didn't even look at Louis. Soon the bell rang and it was finally time to go. Normally I would dread leaving art but I was just happy to get out if this room.

I was almost in the clear when I heard his voice calling my name. I wanted nothing to do with him so I walked a little faster and pretended I didn't hear him. But that didn't stop him from nearly body checking everybody in the hall and calling my name even louder.
