Louis P.O.V
I waited by the car for Hayden for about 10 minutes. That's funny? Why is she taking so long? I figured she might be having "Girl Problems" so I waited a little longer. When it got to be over 15 minutes I started getting worried.
I made my way back to the fair entrance where the bathrooms were. I couldn't just go in the girls bathroom, how was I gonna see if she was Ok?
"Excuse me miss?" I asked tapping a women on the shoulder.
"Yes?" She asked in a southern accent.
"Would you mind going in the bathroom and asking if a girl named Hayden is in there? I am just checking on her." I said politely.
"Sure dear." She replied
I waited anxiously while the plump women went into the bathroom.
Just then my phone buzzed. I looked down with hope that it was Hayden. Unfortunately I was let down.
Kelly: U 2 hurry ur asses back to the house! We r watching a movie!
Louis: I can't find Hayden anywhere! Have you talked to her?
Kelly: No...Just call her
I did as Kelly suggested and dialed in Haydens number. Before I could hit the call button, I heard the door creak open and I turned my head swiftly to see the lady coming out of the bathroom.
"I'm sorry dear but there is no one named Hayden in there, maybe she left already." She said kindly.
"Oh, thanks anyways." I said barely above a whisper. I just felt that something was off. If she wasn't in the bathroom then where the hell was she? Obviously not at the car, I was just there! Oh you idiot just text her!
Louis: Hayden where r u? I'm worried.
I typed nervously. I decided to walk back to the car and wait for a response. Just as I leaned against the car my phone buzzed.
Hayden: Sorry, Hayden is unavailable. Don't worry, she's in good hands. You didn't think you could hide her forever did you?
What the hell? Why in the world would she say tha-
Oh my God...I knew in that moment that Hayden had been kidnapped. Not just by anybody. It had to have been her father. Tears were pouring down my cheeks at the thought of what he is doing to her. How could I leave her alone? This is all my fault. I need to find her.
Louis: You son of a bitch, if you put one hand on her you are dead
Hayden: Too late
I punched the side of my car with all my might bruising the tops of my knuckles.
"Nooooo!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. Everyone in the fair parking lot looked in my direction. I could care less. All that mattered right now was Hayden.
I hopped on the car and frantically dialed the one person I knew could help...Rebecca
"Please pick up, please pick up." I said aloud.
"Hello?" Came Rebecca's voice through the phone.
"Rebecca! Haydens dad got a hold of her! Call the police! Help me please!" I screamed into the phone. I wasn't sure if she understood me though, I was crying so hard that I could barely tell what I was saying.
"What? Louis is that you?" She asked.
"Rebecca! It's me Louis! Haydens dad found her and took her! Call the police!" I tried again.
"Oh my god! Ok! Where do you think they are?" She asked nervously.
"I don't know! They could be anywhere! Oh god this is all my fault!" I screamed.
"Stop Louis don't blame yourself. That is the least of our problems! Just drive back home right now! I'm calling the police." She replied.
I hung up and slammed on the gas pedal.
Hayden's P.O.V
I couldn't really make out anything. All I saw was darkness and a faint ray of light from a lamp in the corner. Where am I?
I rapidly opened and closed my eyelids in an attempt to make things a little less blurry. I could see what looked like a black couch, and a TV on a brown stand. This all looks strangely familiar.
My head was pounding as I made an attempt to get up to my feet. I barely made it halfway off the ground before I fell back to the floor. It was no use. My legs were practically numb as well as my arms. Why was I like this?
Crawling was my only choice. I slowly moved my crippled body to the shelf on the far side of the room. I noticed some pictures which I thought I could use to figure out just where I was. I leaned in as close as I could to the picture to get them into my focus. Was...was that me in the picture?
Who is that man I'm with?
Is tha-
My body froze. I just stared at the picture in horror. It was me and my dad. It's all coming back to me. This is my living room. Or at least my old living room. I could smell the usual alcohol in the air. I noticed the familiar furniture. Yes this was definitely my house.
Why the hell am I here? I thought to myself.
After processing a few thoughts, one thing hit me like a brick wall.
Where is my dad?
I can only imagine that he brought me here. Which makes me panic even more. I backed away from the picture when I heard the distant sound of a footstep.
I started breathing heavier. I looked back at the closed door that was separating me from whoever it was out there. What do I do?
I used all my strength to pry my cold body of the floor and hobbled to the closet. I closed it slightly but left enough room so I could see through a little crack. I tried to slow my breathing down and stay as quiet as possible. That's when I noticed the doorknob slowly twisting.
Inch by inch the wooden frame slowly creaked open revealing my father in the doorway with a bottle of beer in his left hand. A tear escaped from my cheek just at the memory of what he used to do to me. I had to get away from him. Why was there no one here to save me?
Who could possibly save me anyways?
Louis! I frantically shoved my hands in my pockets looking for my phone which apparently was taken from me. It's no use. I'm done for.
