Well it's been about five years since my dad died, and I can honestly say that my life has been so much better! About a year after everything happened Louis asked me to marry him! It was the best moment of my life! It went a little something like this...

It was a Saturday morning. Louis and I were going on a date to the beach, but Louis has told me to dress up, which I thought was strange because, well who dresses up to go to the beach? Anyway I took a shower, blow dried my hair, and then curled it. I did natural eye makeup with winged liquid eyeliner and mascara, then I put on a light pink sundress with gold sandals.

Louis looked perfect as always! He wore a light pink dress shirt to match my outfit, some kaki shorts and Sperry's, with his hair quiffed up!

He took my hand in his and we were out the door on our way to the beach! He still hadn't told me why we were dressed to nicely to go to the beach, but then again he was always looking for a way to surprise me! When we got to the beach he ran over to my side of the car and opened my door.

"For you my lovely princess" he said while taking my hand again

"Why thank you my handsome prince" I said while curtsying

We made our way to the beach and after walking for a while we came upon a blanket laid out with a picnic basket.

"What's this?" I asked very confused

"It's our date" he replied with a big grin on his face

"Oh! This is very sweet, but honey, why did we have to get all dressed up for a picnic?" I asked

"This isn't just any picnic" he answered as if it was the most obvious thing in the world "it's our first date!"

"What are you talking about?" I laughed

And at that moment he pulled out two ham and cheese sandwiches, fruit, cookies, and lemonade. The exact place and meal where we had our very first date!

"Oh my gosh! This is perfect Louis! Thank you!" I said giving him a peck on the lips

"I thought you would like it" he said happily

We finished up our meal fairly quickly all the while laughing and talking and having a great time! This night could not be anymore perfect, or so I thought

"Would you like to take a walk love?" Louis asked

"Sure babe!" I replied

We packed up all of our stuff and left it where nobody could take it. We started walking along the beach, just talking and having a good time.

"Can you skip stones?" Louis asked.

"No I'm horrible at it!" I said. Louis watched as I pathetically threw a round stone into the ocean that plopped and sunk."

"You're doing it wrong, come here."

Louis for behind me and wrapped his arms around mine, placing my wrist I'm the palm of his hand.

"Flick your wrist like this." Louis said into my ear.

I did as he said and watched my stone skip 5 times before disappearing under the surface.

"Wow you know your stuff." I said biting my lip.

He swept me off my feet into his arms bridal style and kissed me for longer than a normal kiss. We continued walking along the beach.

"Look! Louis pointed " Isn't the sunset beautiful?"

"Yea it sure is!" I replied staring out at the ocean and the orange-pink sky that met it.

"Almost as beautiful as you!" Louis replied

He set me down onto the crumbly sand.

I smiled and turned back to face Louis, but when I did he was kneeling on one knee holding a Tiffany's box

I was in shock! I just stood there looking at him with my hand over my mouth.

"Hayden, we have been through so much together. You changed me for the better and I can't tell you how grateful I am for that. Before you I was lost. You mean everything to me, and I don't ever want to live another day without you by side, without you to cuddle, hold, kiss, and talk to! You are my beautiful princess and it would mean everything in the world to me if you became my beautiful wife. I love you Hayden! So will you do me the biggest favor in the world, and marry me?

"Yes! YES! LOUIS OF COURSE!" I was crying now

Louis opened the box to reveal the most beautiful ring I have ever seen, and slipped it onto my finger! I jumped into his arms and he twirled me around, and we kissed under the sunset!

Now Louis and I are very happily married, and getting everything ready for a little visitor! She will be here soon and I can't wait to see out little baby girl!

Louis is going to make the best father ever. I know he will protect and love our daughter as much as he does for me.

I am so glad that through all the dark years in my life, I am finally starting a new one with someone I know is going to always be here for me! Looks like fairy tale endings are possible as long as you have someone you love to share the ending with. Louis is without a doubt the best thing that has ever happened to me, he has wiped away any and all memories of my dad.

As much as some people don't believe in stuff like this, I have no doubt that Louis is my guardian angel.
