Chapter 12

*Friday at school*

*Louis's P.O.V.*

It's been a few days since I discovered Hayden's revolting bruise on her back. I decided not to ask her about it, because the last time I asked she got mad at me, and that is no way to start our relationship, so I decided to just let it slide this one time. I just hate to see her hurting, and I just want to protect her, but she doesn't seem to understand that.

Hayden's voice broke my train of thought

"Hey do you want to walk to art together?" She asked smiling

"Of course love!" I said happily

There was a moment of silence before I finally said

"How is your back today love bug?"

"Louis you asked me that everyday since we stayed home, and everyday I keep telling you that I'm fine." She said slightly laughing

"I know I just want to make sure you are okay." I said wrapping my arm around her waist

"Thank you for caring, but I promise I'm fine." She said

"Pinky promise?" I said smiling down at her

"Pinky promise." She said laughing and interlocking our pinky's

We made it to art class, but instead o going to sit with my buddies, I sat next to Hayden

"What are you doing?" She asked smiling up at me

"Siting down." I said confused

"Well yea, but why aren't you sitting with your friends?" she asked just as confused

"Because you're mine now, and I don't care who knows it!" I said happily

She just looked up at me smiling bigger than I have ever seen her smile before. I quickly leaned down and pecked her on the nose, making her smile even more

The class seemed to fly by, probably because it was the only class I had with Hayden, and I wouldn't be able to see her all day.

"Hey Hayden, do you wanna hang out tomorrow?" I said smiling

"Sure!" she answered back

The bell rang signaling it was the end of class.

"Alright love, I'll see you at the end of the day." I said giving her a quick kiss of the forehead

"Bye Lou!" she said laughing

I couldn't help but smile when she said that. I mean sure pretty much everyone called me that, but when she said it I couldn't help but get little butterflies in my stomach. Gosh she made me so happy.

The day seemed to drag on. Every second without Hayden was like living hell. She just immediately makes me so happy even when I am having a crappy day, I swear that girl is all I need.

At last the bell rang, for us to all leave this prison, and I could finally see Hayden. I spotted her sitting on the bench where I had found her crying that one night. I still will never forget that day and how weak and fragile she looked, it broke my heart.

I jogged up to her and have her a quick kiss. Gosh I will never get used to the feeling of kissing her. It's like magic, and I get those butterflies every single time.

We started to walk home, hand in hand. We got a few awkward stares but what do I care. I'm with my girl and I don't care who knows it!

"So when should I come over tomorrow?" She asked breaking the silence
