Skylar's P.O.V.

"Come with me....Chazz. I'll talk to you later, Jesse." I said as I began walking, Chazz following behind me.

Jesse turned and left with Zane following him as I looked back. I

sighed as I ran a hand through my hair before we ended up I'm front of Duel Academy. I turned to look at Chazz.

"What was that back there?" I asked him.

"A duel for you. What else?" he asked.

"Chazz, what's the real reason why you think you have feelings for me?" I asked him.

"Well, when you first entered Duel Academy, I was surprised that you beat Crowler. Every time you answered a question in class, I admired how you answered so wonderfully and without a hint of flaw or irony. I thought you were smart, kind, and really amazing." he explained.

"What about all the times you were so cold and harsh to me?" I asked him as I crossed my arms.

"I was afraid to confess my feelings for you. I realized that the more harsh I was to you, it just made my feelings stronger. And when I joined the Society of Light, one of the reasons besides loosing the duel was because Sartorius was gonna hurt you. I didn't want that to happen to you. What I'm saying is that I've always had feelings for you ever since you entered Duel Academy. My feelings didn't appear because you are Seto Kaiba's daughter. It was because of who you were." he explained to me.

"Chazz, I don't know what to do. Everything's so complicated right now. I'll have to think about it for now." I told him sadly.

"Okay. I understand. Take your time to think things over." he told me before he left with a hurt look on his face.

Once he was completely gone, I ran a hand through my hair again before punching a tree.

"Dammit!"

"Master Skylar. It's okay. Take your time on who you believe you want to be with." the spirit of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon said in her deep, but soft voice.

"I don't know what to do." I said.

"Believe in yourself and listen to your heart." she replied before disappearing.

I then ran before I ended up in the Obelisk Blue Girl's dorm.

I decided to look for the one person that would comfort me right now. I searched for Alexis as I went through the hallway.

Eventually, I found her talking with Mindy and Jasmine.

"Alexis!" I called out, well, cried out.

She and the girls' heads snapped towards me and Alexis frowned when she saw my watery eyes.

"Skylar? What's wrong?" she asked as she put a hand on my shoulder.

I explained everything to Alexis, Jasmine, and Mindy. Everything about Chazz and Jesse. My feelings for them both and their feelings for me.

"Oh, Sky. It's okay." Alexis told me as she hugged me.

"How about we all go shopping? Just to cheer you up?" Mindy asked.

"Sure. Let's go." I said as we all began walking out of the girl's dorm and we ended up outside.

*2 hours later*

"What about this one? It matches your looks, not to mention personality?" Jasmine asked as she held a gray shirt with magenta designs on it.

"It looks pretty awesome. And so do these jeans." I replied as I held a pair of denim ripped jeans.

"Those look pretty." Alexis said as she held about two skirts and three shirts. "What about heels?" Mindy asked.

"Oh, no thanks. Heels aren't my thing. I'd prefer boots or flats but no heels, unless its a special occasion." I told her as I began picking out more shirts and jeans.

Once we were done shopping, Alexis ended up with four shirts, three skirts, and two jeans. Mindy ended up with four skirts and two shirts. Jasmine ended up with five skirts, three shirts, and a pair of heels. Finally, I ended up with five shirts, four jeans, and a pair of white flats.

By the end of shopping, I was somewhat happy. The girls cheered me up a little bit but not that much.

When we got back to Duel Academy, it was already about 5:30. I was really thankful that it was not half a day today.

"Hey, girls. Can you take my things to my room? I have to go do something?" I asked them. Alexis nodded before she got my bag and walked off with the rest of the girls.

I walked and walked until I ended up at the Slifer dorm. I walked up the stairs and stood in front of Jaden's door. I knocked, followed by a "Come In."

I opened the door and saw Jaden looking at his deck.

"Jaden?" I asked.

"Hey, Sky! What's up?" he asked.

"How's Chazz doing? And Jesse?" I asked.

"Chazz is acting really weird lately. He barely hangs out with us anymore, he's barely eating. He's barely getting out of his room. He's being pretty distant." he explained to me.

"And Jesse?" I asked.

"Jesse is being pretty distant as well, Sky. I'm worried about him. At lunch, he sits by himself now." he told me.

It was then I felt my eyes pouring with tears, making Jaden put down his deck and come to me.

"Skylar? What's wrong?" he asked.

"Chazz. Jesse." I said.

"What's going on between you three?" he asked as he placed his hands on my shoulders.

I explained everything to him, which resulted in him wrapping his arms around me and comforting me.

"It's okay, Skylar. You can make it through this. Just listen to what your heart tells you. Don't rush things." he told me. I

nodded before wiping my tears and pulling away. "Thanks, Jaden. What could I do without you?" I asked him.

"Why don't we duel for now? Get your mind off things?" he asked.

I smiled and nodded. Maybe a little duel could cheer me up.

That's what my family would do whenever I was sad. I could beat Uncle Joey, Uncle Tristan, Aunt Mai, and my godmother while I would sometimes lose to my father or godfather.

We both went outside the Slifer dorm and stood in our positions.

We set up our duel disks and shuffled our decks before inserting them in.

"Game on!"

*30 minutes later*

"Dragon Master Knight, attack his Elemental Hero Flare Neos with Dragon Saber Blast!" I commanded the Black Luster Soldier/Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon fusion.

Soon, Jaden's monster was destroyed and his life points hit 0.

"Not bad, Skylar." he told me as he walked to me.

"Feel better?" he asked. I smiled and nodded my head.

"Yes. Thanks to you."
