Camila only started shaking her head, not wanting to hear a thing Lauren has to say, she managed to prank her once again. She managed to break her heart once again.
But then, the shaking of her head switched the environment around her and suddenly Camila was back on the sofa in the living room, Lauren sitting there watching Walk of Shame.
"Hey there, you fell asleep." Lauren informed her
"Lauren?"
"Yes?"
"Show me your fingers."
"My fingers?"
"Yes Lauren!"
Lauren is confused as hell but still does it anyway.
Camila carefully scans all fingers, one by one, and although Lauren has many rings, on her thumbs and middle fingers, there's no engagement ring at all.
"What's wrong?" Lauren finally asks
"I had a dream, Nick asked you to be his wife, you said yes."
"Oh."
"Would you?"
"Would I what?"
"Say yes?"
"Only if you're 100% sure you don't want me." Lauren mumbles
"I want you Lauren." Camila whispers and Lauren offers her a smile
"I want you now." Camila adds and crawls over on top of Lauren
"Camz-"
"Let me kiss you, please." Camila begs
"No."
"No?"
"I wish Camila, I really do, but no."
"Isn't this what you want? Or did I get it all wrong once again?"
"I do want you."
"But?"
"But we're in a relationship Camila, not with one each other may I add. I know this isn't you, and this isn't me either. The other night was magical to say, but it was wrong of us to do it. Deep down you know that, don't you?"
"I guess." Camila huffs
"Come here." Lauren says as she opens her arms and a moment later Camila is hugging her
"You just gotta wait a bit longer, until I prove myself to you."
"Can you like hurry up with that?" Camila groaned
Lauren chuckled and shook her head. "It takes time. But I promise it will be worth the wait, if you want to wait."
"I do." Camila said and pulled away
"Good."
"I'm so glad you're not engaged." Camila adds after a few moments of silence and Lauren can't help but laugh
"Honestly, Nick and I haven't even talk about that. Marriage I mean. I think I'm too young for that."
"And if he asked you?"
"He wouldn't Camz. He knows I'm not ready, and I don't think he is either."
"If you say so."
Lauren opened her mouth to say something but was cut off by her phone ringing.
"Just a second." Lauren said to Camila as she walked over to grab her phone
"Yes?"
"You fucking slept with Camila??"
