Thomas' POV

The first place I was going was to Chuck. He was the person to go to if you wanted extra clothes. Weird, yeah.

'"Thomas!" Chuck ran over with a smile.

"Hey, Chuck, just need some clothes for Jay" I smiled at the chubby child as he went and collected pants, a shirt, and shoes for me.

"Here you go, and give Jay my best regards." Chuck had a foolish smile on, but it worked for the kid. As soon as he turned around, I ran off back to the Med-Jacks.

Compared to the run in the maze, the run to the Med-Jacks was nothing. Once I was there, I wasn't even tired a bit.

"Do you like Tommy? If so I'm fine with it, but I just want the best for you." I stopped at the door and waited for Jay's response. I hope she says yes!

"Yes?" My heart jumped. Right then I was going to barge in.

"No?" That stopped me. I stood in on spot flabbergasted and hurt. The rest of what Jay said is a blur.

I should head back in. Jay can't know I am listening. I pretended to run in tired.

"What did you do run through the Maze?" Jay was still covered in the blanket. Her blue eyes shone like jewels, but I remember that she did not like me, and probably never will.

"No , it's just harder to find clothes than you think, but I got you some." I smiled trying to cover up the lie I told her. Since I met her, I have never lied to her, and doin it actually made my chest physically hurt.

She had us leave the room so that she could dress. Newt and I stood outside of the room waiting.

"It really took that long to find clothes. I mean you looked bloody tired." Newt gave me a new look. Not the best friend, happy look, but instead an overbearing parent look.

"Yeah, it was just hard trying to find Chuck." I smiled and looked down. The thought of Jay not liking me went through my mind.

"I'm done, you can come in now." Newt opened the door to Jay's command and we both walked in. Her hair was now in a side braid, which was nice because it allowed her highlights to shine through.

"Jay, why don't you get some rest. You need to rest your leg from walking." Newt put Jay on the bed and and put a blanket on her.

"Alright." With a sigh, she nodded in agreement. Funny, siblings. I never seen siblings before like this, and it was pretty funny.

Also, it was interesting seeing this side of Newt.

"Thomas!" The voice sounded like Minho's.

"Thats me. Jay, hope you get better." I smiled at her and ran out.

What was I supposed to say? Jay does not like me, so she probably does not want me to get clingy anymore.

"Yeah, Minho, what did you need?" Minho and Alby sat in the Homestead. "I feel like I am being called to the principal's office. What did I do this time?" My last sentence came out with a sigh.

"You did not do anything wrong this time. Actually we wanted to talk about Jay." Alby pulled up another chair next to him and Minho.

"What about Jay?" What did they want with her? Was she in huge trouble? Was she going to be banished?

"Newt and I agreed that if Jay messed up, or got hurt, she was no longer going to be a runner. We will announce it tonight at dinner, but we wanted to know what you thought." Alby stood up and put his hands on his hips.

It was a good idea, and by the look of it, Minho agreed. I nodded my head yes. It pained me to do this.

"It is for the best." I looked at Minho and he nodded in agreement.

"Than it's settled, Jay is no longer a runner." Once Alby says it, than that means it is settled to an agreement. No matter what anyone else says.
