I hate this place. I hate every second of everyday. "Well, well isn't it our pretty little Jay." Janson walked up and laughed in my face.
"Don't talk to my sister like that." Newt began to launch out, but a guard stopped him.
Janson grabbed my head with one of his hands. He put his nose against mine and said, "Traitor." Then he pushed me to the ground. Newt launched out again, but the guard hit him in the stomach.
"Newt!" I jumped up and punched the guard in the face. "Don't touch my brother."
"Well, it seems that the mighty Jay still has not lost her temper. You know Jay, you were once the top guard for W.C.K.D. We relied on you for everything, and was even going to promote you to Chancellor Paige's personal assistant. That was all until you went and wanted to be the hero." My heart sunk. Jason was going to say something I was trying to hide from Newt.
"No- please." I looked at Jason longingly. "Assistant Director-"
"Jay what is Ratman talking about?" Newt called down and now looked at me with confusion.
"Jay was not put into the maze because she wanted to, and your little friend was not put into the Maze because she was a monster. Rosemary was put into the Maze because she became a threat. We told Jay to go in and get rid of her, but when Jay found out that you were there. She forgot her mission and just spent time with her big brother." Tears ran down my face.
"Jay here is a fraud. Jaden is a fraud. She faked having her memory loss and just wanted to spend time with her family. Jay is the reason Rose is dead not you." Janson had gone on my last nerves.
"Newt, he is lying. Yes, my real name is Jaden, but that is all I remember. I did lose my memory in the maze, all except my real name and my family. Only my mum, dad, and you." Tears were streaming down my face.
"You lied. Jay, you bloody lied to me, and you promised in the maze that you would never lie to me." Newt's face went from hurt to emotionless. "I trusted you Jay." Newt turned around and walked to where the rest of the Gladers were being held.
"Newt!" Janson put his hand on my shoulder.
"It's too late, he does not care about you anymore. Although, I don't want you to fear, because you will get to see everything in their next trial on screen." I wanted to punch Janson. "We have eyes everywhere, so, you can always watch your precious brother, just as you did before." Janson walked away. Leaving me in the black hallway.
It's my fault, and now Newt is going to die because of me. I am the person that causes my brothers death.
I kill Newt.
