Phoenix Drop

Days later we were on land and roaming through villages. We briefly visited bright port, Metelli and other villages. We were resting off somewhere in the forest. Zane neglected to tell me that some of his guards were coming along as well, so it was extremely awkward. We were visiting a village called Phoenix Drop for a wedding. Zane was going to wed the couple. "Alright, (Y/N), we will be entering Phoenix Drop mid-day tomorrow. I'd like for you to go to the wedding with me, as my guard."
"All right, sir," I kept myself from sighing as I answered. The moon was high in the sky. I crawled into the small tent and laid in the sleeping bag and quickly fell asleep.

"Wake up, (Y/N)," Zane started, "You're gonna make us late." I sprung up and put on my O'Khasis guard armor. Unlike the others I was not required to wear my helm, since I was actually attending the wedding and not just guarding Zane. "Oh, so your wearing that.... I'd hope you would get into a nice white dress," he said not even looking at me. I blushed and quickly changed clothes. I was wearing a white dress and a large black cross necklace, which was a gift from him. "That's better," he said looking back at me with a smile. His eye sparkling happily.

Zane was dressed now and we walked to Phoenix Drop side by side, his guards lingering behind like a bad odor. His arm was around my shoulders protectively. We walked and approached the lord of Phoenix Drop. Her dark hair falling to her waist and Amber eyes that pierced the soul. "Greetings, Lord Aphmau I presume?" Zane greeted.
"Yes, yes I am." She looked me up and down, and then she smiled kindly. "You must be Zane.... And..." She looked at me and I looked down, avoiding her gaze. My (e/c) eyes were inferior to hers. Not because of beauty, but because hers had a certain aspect in them that I couldn't match. "This is (Y/N), my guard," Zane introduced me to Aphmau. "Well, (Y/N), you can go take a look around town. Zane and I have things to talk about." She looked at me with a gold gaze, and with that I ran off.
