"Hey, pill boy? Have you seen my notebook anywhere?"
"No." I tried to look confused.
"Hmmm... I swear it was right here!" Sam mumbled, tucking her hair behind her ear.
"Sorry." I threw my hands up in the air defensively.
She pulled up the front of her shirt and smiled. "Anyway... hi!"
"Hey, um... I gotta go. My friends invited me to a dance tonight. Sorry."I shrugged.
Sam's eyes grew wide and she bit her lip. "Okay..."
Laughing, I took a seat next to her. "Okay, what is it?" I loved how well I knew her already.
"Are there going to be any girls there?" She asked slowly.
I snorted and bent over in hysterical laughter.
"What!"
"Somebody looks jealous." I smirked and crossed my arms.
"Am not!"
I raised an eyebrow.
"So what if I am?"
I ruffled a hand through her hair and she frowned. "Of course there will be. But don't worry."
She smiled. "Bye!"
"Bye Sam."
