“So Ming comes back tomorrow, huh?” Mone asked as we climbed up a maple tree.
“That’s right,” I sighed as I swung into a comfortable position. “I can’t wait to see him.”
“So what are we doing for your brother’s birthday? Are we going to have cake?” she inquired as she hung by only her legs.
“Cake, yes. I don’t know what else…” I answered as I watched her, enjoying her else.
“Yellow or chocolate?” she wondered out loud, swinging back and forth.
“I think chocolate,” I replied as I looked toward the school. “We better head in.”
“I guess,” she muttered as she jumped down, branch by branch.
