Peridot's POV
"HEY!" Amethyst said. I could tell she was always enthusiastic. Her voice was soothing in that it was scratchy but beautiful. WHAT? The only other person I've said to have a beautiful voice is Marina and the Diamonds. Ha....well. "Peridot is a beautiful name" amethyst said. "Oh well thank you, I-I I like yours too.!........um where'd you move from?" I asked "Pensilvania" she responded. Not far considering this was Delaware. "Nice........" I said. "So you like Marina?" I asked. "HAHAHA YES!" She said smiling so much her dark brownish-Blue eyes disappeared behind her freckled, chubby, cheeks. "Ha!" I said getting more used to this conversation. "How much of a fan are you?" I said in a funny voice to challenge her, while I raised a brow. "Is this Marina Diamandis TRIVIA?!?" She said. "YOURE ON!"
It was like an hour later and the score was close. I was leading by 2. Yes, we HAD to keep score. "Here's one" Amethyst said. "What does Marina's middle name mean?" "Ha easy" I said flicking my hand and throwing my head back. "Okay...." She said "so what is it?" "Bright!" I responded. "ERRRRRRRR" she said laughing as if she were the buzzer. "IT'S LIGHT!" She said. "No no no no no no nooooo!" I screamed ending it with a hard face palm in the end. "Alright....you're winning by one.....if I get the next question right, give me the win...if you get me, and I answer wrong, you win!" Amethyst said. "YOU'RE ON!" I said.
I tried to think of the hardest question possible to diamond-kind. (If you're not a fan of Marina, a fan of hers is called a diamond. So diamond-kind is like human-kind)"Ha GOT IT! Okay ready?" I asked. She nodded "hmmmmmm alright. WHAT IS MARINA's SISTER's JOB?" "UUUGGHHH" she screamed as if in pain and rolled backwards. Amethyst quick sat up and spat in my face....the correct answer. "DOCTOR!!!!" I nodded to her correctness and lowered my head in shame. "Awe it's okay, better luck next time Dot!" She said. I suddenly looked up to her in surprise as she stood up. "Oh, you don't like nicknames?" "No-no...........it's- it's fine" "alrighty then Peri." I slightly cringed at the new names. See you tomorrow she said entering her room. I turned around and did the same. Humph. Hopefully I didn't keep the rest of my family up because it was apparently 11:10. Oh! One more minute till 11:11. No I wasn't superstitious, but I mean, I wanted to believe that this would work.....I had one minute to think of a wish. I whispered it to my self as the clock changed.
