"Heh, is this the Breakfast Club?" Amethyst said as we walked into Saturday detention together. Thanks again for that Miss Alexandrite. My eldest sister, Jasper had just dropped us off and skidded away in her convertible that she somehow managed to pay for. Amethyst held the door open for me as I walked in with books tucked beneath my right arm and a pencil behind my left ear. "What'd you bring all that for?" Amethyst questioned. "Entertainment." I said. "Is that that notebook with the smut?" She asked. I nodded in agreement, shamefully. "The very thing that got you here you bring back? Okay Peridot." She said with a child-like giggle. As we walked down the hallways to Miss Alexandrite's room she asked: "got more in there?" I again nodded my head in agreement as she held her hand out as a gesture asking to see it. "I-I'll show you it all later if you want." I responded and Amethyst gave me a shove. "I thought you were innocent, you little dork. Seems like you got a shit-load of sin in there."

As we entered the class I noticed Malachite on the left of the class room sitting near Miss Alexandrite's desk. Not in her chair I might add though. Nobody else was is the class, the only sound was Malachite popping that spearmint gum again. I took a seat at my assigned one and Amethyst sat in Malachite's usual desk. The lavender haired girl kicked her feet up on the desk right near my face and took out her phone. I whispered to her: "aren't we not supposed to have electronic devices during this time?" "Heh I don't care, Alexandrite isn't in here. Losen up Dot. Here:" she responded as she clicked a few things on her phone and Marina and the Diamonds began to play for us. I looked up at her and gave her a smile. "Thanks for making this experience better." "You've never been in detention before?" She asked. "I have never committed such a treason to acquire such a punishment."

"Turn that shitty garbage off!" Malachite screamed across the room as Just Desserts blared from Amethyst's phone. "Uncultured Swine" I whispered to Amethyst leaning across the table. "She probably listens to Five Seconds of Summer or something." She murmured back. "Probably has bad hearing." "Probably only heard Primadonna before." "Probably has lived in the bottom of the ocean her whole life. "Probably-" "you should PROBABLY shut the fuck up!" Malachite shouted interrupting us. "Great hearing actually..." I let slip from my mouth. The girl across the room went silent then as she poked headphones into her ears and looked back down at her phone. With that we continued to play our music as I took out my sketchbook. Amethyst then took her legs off the table as she began to show interest in what was in front of me. "Uhh...here." I said sliding it across the tabletop to her, she took it pleasingly. She gave me a smirk as she carefully opened it and I sank back in my chair. I don't know why I decided to share my sinful art with her but something about me said I had to give her whatever she wanted. Please her. Otherwise, you'd loose your only friendship. Comply. She flipped open to the first drawing and gave it careful study. "Where's the smut?" She asked. "Ughhhhh....later on..." I said and she began flipping through pages. Suddenly she stopped and gave wide eyes. "Whoa Peri, you're not into drawing details but -" She was interrupted by a deep voice saying: "Amethyst Fluorite Quartz and Peridot Fluorite Diamond, I see you've decided to join us!" Miss Alexandrite said with a monotone voice and a straight face. Amethyst quickly shut the notebook and slid it back over to me causing it to fall straight in my lap. Miss Alexandrite walked over to her desk and sat next to Malachite and snatched her phone from the girl and placed it gently on her desk. Amethyst quickly turned her music off and slid her white iPhone in her pocket. We looked over to Miss Alexandrite as she gave us both a warning look. "I've never been in so much trouble before..." I told Amethyst. "Quiet." Our teacher said. "In my detention we don't talk."
"What's the worse she could do? Put us in another detention?" Amethyst said with a giggle. I giggled as well until we got another death glare, the two of us sank back in our seats and waited the aloted time out.

My friend and I sprinted out of the building as fast as we could in to the fresh air and out of our prison. We burst through the door and started laughing hysterically for no reason together as I took a tumble to the ground and held my stomach. The cackling continued and I began to wheeze. "Hahahahaha bro bro chill chill hahahahaha" amethyst managed to say. "H-help me up." I said and reached my hand up. My body was feeling too weak from the laughter to use my 'muscles.' As I took Amethyst hand I decided to pull a prank and pulled her with all my might down to the ground with me. But what I didn't expect is she landed exactly perpendicular on me, her stomach on top of mine. We vibrated as we felt each other laughing which caused more laughter. For the third or fourth time today we were interrupted by a honking of a car horn. "Get in losers" Jasper shouted from her crimson car that was pulled up on the side of the street. Instead of opening the door, Amethyst hopped over it and I followed landing slightly after her. We buckled in unison as Jasper speeded off down the street.

As we arrived to our residence, Jasper quickly shoved us out and sped off to god-knows-where. We strolled down to my house until Amethyst stopped in her tracks and stared dead at the rocky sidewalk. "C'mon" was all she said as a warning until she swept me of my feet quite literally. I found myself struggling to keep up with her pace as we ran through our neighborhood. After about 5 blocks of running I hunched over and took a breather as Amethyst waited impatiently. "Not much further." She said as she took my hand again wrapping hers neatly around mine. As she dashed across the street I squeezed my hand to hers, digging my soft fingers into the ring on her middle finger. I was yanked up a steep hill in the park we had arrived at. People watched as we zipped by and I could only wonder why we were in such a hurry. We neared our way to the other outer boundary of the park which had an even steeper hill to trek up. Amethyst stopped at the edge and I collapsed. She stared down at me her hands on her hips panting with an anxious look. "Sorry." She said as she scooped my up into her loving arms. Her muscles showed as I wrapped my arms around her neck, admiring them and her strength. She bounded up the hill taking long strides. I then moved my eyes up to her face as she focused at the task at hand but she must of felt me staring because she gave me a quick smile with a blush across her face. Her eyes her round and gleaming with adventure with a light liner and wing to extenuate them, a tootsie roll brown, her nose was cute as a button so small yet wide, and her lips were plump with purple lip gloss complimenting them. I felt my heart begin to melt until she lightly put me down into the soft ground. I stabilized my self by leaning on my bent elbows and gazed at her as she scrunched up her waist with her hands, her eyes looking the other direction and her hair blowing in her face. She adjusted her shirt, the color of spilled wine of Dynonisis himself. I then shook my head to stop my staring and adjusted my legs to a criss-cross. Amethyst mimicked me as she carefully sat her self down. "Here we go." She said. "Where is here?" I questioned. "My favorite spot in the world." The tranquility of it all flooded through me as Amethyst rocked back and fourth, while holding her ankles. I embraced the warm spring air on my face as Amethyst began to whistle. I stopped my looking around to look at her. "Oh sorry." She said. "Usually I do something while I'm here. It's hard to keep still, I'm ADHD." She confessed. "Oh." Was the only word I could muster out. I wasn't good with responses to confessions. The only good response I have for confessions is to respond with another confession. So I said: "I've been diagnosed with anxiety." "Oh." She said and it went silent in again.

"Im hungry." She said and started rolling down the hill with a bright smile on her face and giggles pouring out. She looked so happy, so content. Amethyst made a sudden halt at the bottom of the hill and sat on her knees with her hands in front of her. "Cmon scardey-dot, you can do it." I bent down on my hands and knees, I began to roll. The world spun round and round until I made a stop as well. My body landed on top of Amethyst's thighs as she looked down into my eyes. Chuckles started from the two of us until she said: "let's blast."
~
"Ayyyyyeeee! A hotdog stand!" She pointed out dragging me on my heels yet again. "Two hotdogs please!" Amethyst said digging in her pocket. "Uh Ameth-" "no it's okay Peridot I can pay" "no no that's not what I me-"
"Here you go lovely ladies" the man said lowering his arms down to our heights. Amethyst grabbed the hotdogs, shoving one in my face. "No, Amethyst I was trying to say, I'm a vegetarian."
"Oh sorry," she said with her mouth full. "I'll just eat this."
"Let's go home, we can 'hang out' at my residence."
"Heh."
