  Somewhere in Detroit........

" Daddy??" Clara's voice rang through the house.

The tired father rubbed his eyes and came to her. " Yes, my child?"

" Do you feel it?"

" Feel what?"

" Daddy, I think we're having an earthquake!"

* Boom *   * Boom *   * CRASH!*

The father quickly tugged on his coat and ran outside. " Stay here Clara. "

" But dad-"

" I said stay here!"

In the distance, he could see something large, powerful, on fire. It's roar was loud enough to awake the dead.  On top of this monstrous beast, was a girl, cackling and jabbing cheers.

The thing destroyed everything in sight, and screeched every minute. The man waved his arms. " HEY!!  HEY!!"

His fears rose as quickly as heat as the beast stood in front of him. Angry, the girl jumped down and held a sword to his throat. " Who dares disturb our joy?"

The man gulped but spoke with confidence. " I do. Who do you think you are? Crashing everything in sight as if nobody else matters but yourself-"

" SILENCE!!!!" The girl scored him across the face. Then she pulled him close, until they were inches apart. " I'm so sick of your human games. People like you think they can do anything and hurt anybody that pleases them. I am merely here to show that you are wrong. " The crazy woman breathed heavily.  " Let me rule you, and I will give you, what you need. "

The man shook his head slowly. " No. "

The girl circled him viciously. " You are brave, human. "

He breathed. " Yes, I am. I have a daughter to look after, a family. Someone like you would only destroy it. "

" You say that like it's a fact. "

" I say it because it's true. You probably never had anyone to love, or anyone to love you. That's how it will always be,

" Forever. "

The girl's eyes hardened, and she lowered her staff. "Then she grabbed the man by his shirt and spit, " Pray we never meet again, boy. "

As she released him, the monster let out a howl, and together, they took off into the night, destroying everything, and almost everyone, in sight.
