I wake up to my alarm clock blaring out the most annoying alarm. I slam my hand down on it and it finally stops.I drag my body out of bed and head on to the shower. I wash my hair and do a quick scrub on my body before getting back out. I wrap a towel around me and head back into my bedroom.
I play my music from Spotify and head to my closet to figure out what I am going to wear today. I finally decide to just put on my brothers old football shirt and some track shorts and put on a quarter zipper jacket on top and quickly slide on my Nikes.
I go back into my bathroom and brush my hair and wash my face. I brush out my hair getting all the knots and letting it curl on the bottom by itself.
I head downstairs to see a yellow sticky note on the fridge. I roll my eyes already knowing what it says.
"Hey Taylor, I had a surgery at 7 and I couldn't miss it. Sorry I'm not there this morning. My card is on the counter. Go to the mall and have some fun! And also buy some clothes other than track shorts and Nike clothes. Dress up every once and a while!
-Love mom"I will go shopping, but I won't stop buying track shorts. I quickly grab some oranges and head out making sure to grab my phone and my mom's card.
I turn on my ignition and the radio starts and is playing some of my favorite music. I nod my head and sing along on my way to the mall.
I get into the parking lot and try to find a parking space. I finally find one and I head towards it. A motorcycle suddenly decides its a great opportunity to start to back up. I slam on my breaks and honk my horn and it finally stops right before hitting me. They go back into the parking space they were just in and I quickly park my car and get out slamming the the door and grabbing my stuff walking towards the motorcycle.
"Dude you have a lot of nerve almost hitting my car! Do you know how much I paid for this car?! This is my baby and if you would have hurt it I would have make your life hell! Do you have anything to say for yourself?!"
I can probably imagine that I look absolutely crazy yelling at this person but I am beyond mad. I worked hard for this car and I had to do a lot of begging to get this car instead of my old Honda.
The person on the motorcycle has a all black helmet covering their face. They reach to their head to pull off the helmet. Once it is off, I wish they wouldn't have taken off. The one and only Ryder Carson stands in front of me.
"Come on sweetheart, we both know that you would never have the heart to hurt me." He states with a smirk.
"As a matter of fact, I would actually enjoy hurting you ten times more knowing its the one and only Ryder Carson."
"Well then I'm glad I didn't hurt your praised car."
"Yeah, well you should be." I say storming off towards the mall checking the time seeing how much time I have to shop.
"So, where are we shopping today?" I hear Ryder ask me catching speed with me.
"We are shopping nowhere. I, although am shopping at American Eagle." I say turing to my right and walking into the store.
"Well I have nothing to do this afternoon. So I guess you have the honor of hanging out with me today." Ryder announces scrolling through pairs of ripped jeans.
"Honestly, as much as I would love to spend quality time with the obnoxious Ryder Carson all afternoon, you would be no use to me shopping."
I turn to face Ryder holding up a pair of really cute ripped jeans. Thy are slightly faded and don't show too much skin. And they have patches underneath, but not to where it looks ugly.
"Ryder! Those are great! Do they have my size?" I say walking towards him and going through the jeans and I find my size.
"I guess I am of good use then huh?" Ryder states with a smirk.
"Yeah I guess. I am so happy I found a pair of these, I have been wanting a pair forever!"
I keep walking an find a really cute gray long sleeve dress that stops a couple inches from my knees. I head to the cashier line ready to pay.
"Aren't you gonna go to the dressing room to try those on." Ryder asks.
"Nope. I know my size and I never go to dressing rooms. If the clothes don't fit me, or I don't like them on me, I just come back and return them. Most of the time I don't have to do it." I say with a simple shrug handing the cashier my clothes.
"Your total will be $50.79." I hand her my card and watch her pack up my clothes in a bag and hand me my receipt.
"Thanks so much." I say and walk out of the store.
"So I'm guessing you're a spoiled child. Parents give you lots of money to spend on yourself and you use it, but make sure not to over use it, right?"
"I am not spoiled! My mother lets me go shopping for clothes when I want. I know my size and I know what I need. I buy what I need and I treat myself every once and a while. You don't even know me. You shouldn't be making assumptions about me."
"Just trying to figure you out that's all." He says with his hands up mocking surrender.
"Well stop. You might not want to see the results." I say stalking off to the next store.
