I wake up the next morning bright and early to get ready for school. I pressed snore on my alarm multiple times that now I am 30 minutes late and have 15 minutes to get dressed.
I get ready for school and wear some light wash jeans with just a plain white shirt that I tie in the front.

I head downstairs to grab a pop tart and pack my school bag. Per usual, I forgot my keys upstairs, so I go back up then head to my car.
I spend a good five minutes trying to find a good song to listen to on the radio, but end up just plugging in my aux.

I'm really exhausted even though I overslept so I pick a really hype playlist to jam out to. I drive to school and jam out even though I get multiple stares from people in others cars. Living my best life, ya know?

When I get to school and park I still have five minutes before school starts. This is the perfect chance to take a quick rest before I have to go inside. I just lie back and close my eyes for a minute to rest my eyes. I am soon startled my instant banging on my passenger side window. I look up to see Ryder smirking at me. I roll the window down.

"What the hell Carson?" I scream grabbing my chest and feeling my heart beat extremely fast.

"You weren't moving. Wanted to make sure you were still alive." He tried to open the door from the outside but it was locked. "Unlock the door."

"No. I don't want you in my car." I say looking at him like that was obvious.

"Why not?" Ryder asks.

"Because it's my car, that's why." Ryder then sticks his hand inside my car through the open window and moves his hand down to the car handle to go unlock the door. Once I realize what he's doing, I begin to roll up the window, but I'm too late and he already has the door unlocked and jumps in.

"You snooze you loose" Ryder says with a smile.

"Yeah I really did loose." I sat with the upmost sarcasm. Ryder just smirks at me and his attention is then drawn to my radio.

"What is this music?" Ryder asks with confusion.

"What? Does Cardi B not jam up your tunes?" I say with a slight smirk.

"No she actually doesn't." He says while reaching over to change the song. I instantly reach over and smack his arm away.

"Hands off the radio pal. My car, my rules." I say. Ryder goes to say something to me but he is cut off by the sound of the bell ringing indicating to go to class.

"Times up. Get out of my car. It's time to go to school!" I say faking enthusiasm. We soon both get out of the car and walk together to our first class of the day.

I notice on our way we get stares from people walking to class. I take out my phone and slide onto the camera and examine my face to find food. I find nothing.

"What is everyone staring at? Do I have something in my hair?" I ask Ryder.

Ryder chuckles. "No. They are staring because I just got out of your car and we're walking to class together."

"Well you better walk away then Carson, you're going to ruin my reputation." I say and snort. I hear Ryder chuckle.

"Yeah, okay." He says. We continue walking until we have to part our separate ways to get to our classes.

"Catch ya later Hartman."

"See ya later Carson." I say with a small smile.
