It's finally homecoming game day. The best game of the season.I usually go to all football games to help support Zach and Alex. Football is probably the best sport there is as well. The homecoming game is always the best because everyone comes out. It isn't often that so many people go to the normal season football games. Large crowds usually come when our school plays our rivals and the homecoming game.
The football games are the best place to be because everyone dresses up in school pride to come and support. You see so many excited people taking pictures and cheering for the players. It's the best place to be.
I am home right now getting ready for the game. I blast my music as loud as possible and start jumping around trying to get hyped up for the game. I quickly shower and dry off. I change into a pair of spandex and a random Under Armor shirt. It's 5:30 right now and the game starts at 7.
I do light makeup today because it's always extremely hot at the games. I fill in my eyebrows, do light pink eyeshadow and put on mascara. Makeup has never really been my thing. I watch YouTube videos on makeup but I can never get anything right. I just gave up at one point.
I hear the doorbell ring and I jump up in excitement. I know it's Tony the Pizza man. I run down the stairs and trip on my way down. I quickly get back up and head over to the door. I open it to see Tony smiling back at me.
"Hey Tony! How are you?" I say excitedly.
"Not that great considering I still have to work for another three hours. I'm pulling through though." Tony says jokingly and I chuckle.
"It's $12.50 right?" I ask and see Tony nod. I reach into my wallet and quickly pay him.
"See you next time Taylor." Tony says walking away and I wave him goodbye.
I head upstairs with the box in my hand. I turn down my music and turn on my tv. I decide to turn on CNN and have it on as a background. I open up the pizza box smell the deliciousness. I withhold a moan at the smell. I eat three slices while somewhat listening to the news. After a while I have to turn it off because what's going on in the world really gets me upset.
It's now 6:00 and I have an hour before the game. I go to the closet and pick out one of Zach's old school football uniforms. I put it on and it surpasses my spandex and covers my butt completely. I put on a pair of Lulu Lemon leggings with a pair of my white vans.
I go to my desk and curl my hair in beachy waves. I then braid a small portion of my hair and bobby pin it back on my head. I look at myself in the mirror, I don't look half bad.
I go to my phone and call an Uber to come get me. I'm going to leave the game with Zach so I can't drive there. I quickly pack my purse with my wallet, perfume, keys and chapstick. I then head downstairs to the kitchen. I grab a water and put it in my purse.
Finally the Uber arrives and I head into their car thanking them for picking me up. We make small talk the entire ride, nothing usual. Finally, I arrive to the game and I couldn't be happier. I get out and thank the Uber for the ride.
I head up to the stands and find Madison talking to a guy I don't know. I head over and stand next to her. I don't acknowledge her though because it seems like she's really interested in what the guy has to say. After they finish talking and he walks away, I tap her on the shoulder to say hey. When Madison notices it is me, her eyes light up.
"Hey Tay! Where have you been?" She asks. She is wearing an old school shirt that says 'Go Lions!' with jean short and black converse. Madison has on light makeup and her hair pulled back in a high ponytail.
