Chapter 27: Can't be

Looks like I'm all alone now..

Since Gigi's already married at took a vacation at Malibu. Gigi has always dreamt to go there and now she got her wish!

It was once again a lonely day in the city. I was once again sitting in that rocking chair by the window staring at the skies,the people outside and the cars on the road whilst I gently rub my pregnant belly.

I was suddently awakened by my mother who was calling my attention..

"Kate! Honey! Where are you?" She starts off the conversaion as she searches for me in my bedroom.

"Mom! I'm at the living room!"

"Oh,coming!"
I chuckle at her goofiness.

She arrives from upstairs and takes a seat by the couch.

"What is it?"

"Oh nothing dear,I just want to tell you something very important.Well you see Gigi is already married and so are your other friends right?"

"I know where this is going.."

By the time she told me that Gigi and my other friends were already married,I knew she wanted me to get married too..

"I hope you understand."

"Who do you expect me to settle in with?" I asked her with a diappointed tone.

"Honey,I know you kind of got interested in that Bryan guy a lot now,but I hope you also learned that he's such a jerk for leaving you without your consent! Now all you have is Austin,who's always there waiting for you while here you are avoiding him, hoping that Bryan's getting back. Austin is the one for you!"

"I hope you learned about love and marriage?" I arch my brow towards her as she try to beg me.

"Kate,You're already 26. If you don't marry now,when will you? When you're already dying?"

"I know I'm getting old,everybody does,even you! But why him? Why him??"

"So are you telling me you're gonna wait for that Bryan-guy who left you? Who knows when he'll come back! Whether you like it or not,You're gonna marry him! I am your mother and do not question whatever I tell you to do!"

"Hmph.." I growl as I stand up and storm out going to my room.

Maria(Kate's mother)'s POV

Why can't she understand? She can't marry Bryan! Never! Why? Its not just because he left without no reason,Its because Kate and Bryan are siblings!

*gasp* Kate is about to be married to Austin whether she likes it or not! But Kate wants to wait for Bryan but Maria is about to stop that from happening because Kate and Bryan are step-siblings!!!

*gasp* who knew?! I did! Jk.. I just came up with it just now..
