Chapter 34:Two 'P's in a pod

"I have decided to take your offer."

I approach mom.
I nervously stood there behind her,gripping my hands tightly.

Mom faced me and left behind the plates she was about to wash,after we ate dinner. Gigi went home with Kendrick to their new home,which was a block away from here. We hired a nanny for Jay who would take care of him if mom and I were busy.

"I thought so." I sweet smile went across her face.

Gwynette,Dylan and Nicki were back as we speak.

Gwynette was our wedding photographer.

Dylan,my Wedding Gown designer.

Nicki,my make-up artist.

Yipee! Who would have thought that even though my wedding won't be 'my dream wedding',I would have the Gwynette as a wedding photographer? Her Canon camera was off the hook!

And I would have Dylan for a wedding gown designer! He even showed me one of his sketches!

And that I would have Nicki for a make-up artist. She even practiced one of her looks on me!

I may have a wedding not as I have dreamt it would be,but at least I get to have a crew as great as they are!

"You'll meet the others some other time,that is if you're ready." Dylan speaks up.

Mom looks at me for answers.

"Uhh,yeah. Sure."

The three then left and caught themselves a cab.

I close the door that they passed through.

"Mom,Don't think its necessary that Dad walks me to my wedding?"

The sunshine-ray smile that was once marked on her face,turned into a sorrowful frown.

"Stop worrying about that,You do know ai could do that for you too,right?"

"Mom,this isn't about discussing how sweet you are to me. I'm being serious here,I need him [dad] for my wedding!"

"He has commited half of his life with us,now that he has a family of his own,Its time he commit himself to them the rest of his life."

"Stop talking like that! Seriously,You talk like Moses,from the bible."

"You could say that,but at least I'm telling you the fact."

"So you're telling me that this wedding would break history,and all of a sudden news everywhere have spread about the.'Bride's mom walks her to the altar. Breaks history!' Thing!"

"Maybe,but the other thing that I'm trying to tell you here is that We could find ways with or without him."

"Why are you affecting a connection that has happened a long time ago? This is our future we are talking about."

"I know we're talking about the future,I'm aware of that. And first of all I am not 'connecting a happening that has happened a long time ago.' I am only saying that 'Sometimes you gotta let go of the things you know won't last forever.'"

"#dramaqueen" I rolled my eyeballs as I crossed my arms together.

"You're acting immaturely. Start thinking like an adult,Kate!"

"Maybe I'm not the only one who's acting immaturely."

"Eek!!!!!!" Crissy shrieked as she was inside of Jay's nursery,which could be heard throughout the whole house.

Mom and I both rushed to the nursery where Crissy was. Her face was as white as a bowl of whipped cream,as if she had seen a ghost. Mom and I both looked at each other and tried guessing in our minds what was wrong and that why Crissy shrieked.
It seemed as though something significant to the nursery was missing,yet in a moment we don't know what..

Hmm..??
