Chapter 37: Come at me

The scent of the alluring aroma of pancakes and hot choco swooned me over to the kitchen as I woke out of bed.

I sat down grabbed a coffee cup and poured hot choco on it and dug in.

"Are you sure you're REALLY not seeing anybody?"

Mom entered the kitchen room as she closes the back door,carrying a bouquet of dandelions.

..and click! Just so as I thought! Another card!

Mom handed it to me,I flip open the card.

'Roses are red,
Violets are Blue,
Here's something for you!

Oops! Almost forgot,these are bad for you. No worries,why not try something new right?.'

The card says. I was furious. Who would send me Dandelions when he or she obviously knows I'm allergic to them?

"What does it say? Honey,Be careful not to sniff."

I hand mom the card. She read it.

"Who is this? This person has been blackmailing you since yesterday!"
Mom proclaims as devastated as I am.

She was right. Who is this person? What is his reason?

I feel like I'm having Death Threats for Breakfast. This person is killing me physically,mentally and emotionally!

I've been starting to go back to work for a couple of months now. Have to save up more.

I payed the driver of the taxi cab and departed from the vehicle. I greet the guard in charge and everyone else and proceeded to the nurses' ward.

Where I met Kendrick,he's a doctor here. Explains his love story with Gigi,right?

He waved at me.

"Are you okay,now? That messenger freaked me out yesterday,I hope you're fine. Me and Gigi were worried of you." He sounded concerned.

"Thanks but I think I'm okay,I think.
You see,I received another message this morning." I handed him the card and explained about the delivered Dandelions and about my problem with them.

He looked at me straight in the eye.

"Woah! Why are you having a conversation without me?" Gigi busts in. Swinging her hips left to right as she approaches to Kendrick's side and slinged her arm unto his shoulders.

Kendrick and I look into each other's eyes.

"Uhh-- no. Its probably nothing." I cover myself up. I didn't want her to worry,I know how she reacts about things related to this. So better off shut up and pray for the best to happen.

"She got another letter." Kendrick pops out the big words and handed the card to his wife who was next to him.

"Sorry,I had to do that. She deserves to know." He apologized.

"So you really weren't planning to telling me about this,aren't you?" She looked right at my face.

"You know what,Lets forget about this crap. I won't let this ruin the rest of the day. Gotta go." I scoffed.
