See a war I wanna fight it,
See a match I wanna strike it,
Every fire I've ignited,
Faded to grey.

But now that I'm broken,
Now that you know it,
Caught up in a moment,
Can you see inside?

Jet Black Heart ~ 5 Seconds of Summer

Ashton's POV

"Luke, just calm down. Okay?" I tried to get him to breathe, he was having another panic attack. Lately, his anxiety had been creeping back but he refused to admit it.
"I'm coming with you. I can't leave her," Luke cried.
"Okay, you grab the keys and I'll grab Sophie." I scooped up Sophie and made my way downstairs, careful of her head on the walls.
"What happened? Is she okay!?" Cried Calum from the living room.
"She passed out. We need to get her to the hospital," I said. "We'll meet you there. You and Luke, um.." Michael was scrambling around. "Take my keys and go. It'll be okay, Ash."
I hope so... I really do..

Luke's POV

The hospital waiting room. I always hated these places, full of sadness and misery.

Ash was sat beside me, his eyes red from crying. We've only known Sophie for a week but we all care about her so much.

"Mr. Irwin, could you come this way please?" Asked a doctor.
"Can Luke come with me, please? I can't do this alone," I asked.
"I suppose so. Come this way."

I can't do this alone.
Why did he need me though? Why not Calum? Or Mikey?

"So what's going on?" I broke the uncomfortable silence. I looked across at Ashton, carefully slipping my hand into his. He looked up at me, then back to the floor.

"Well, it appears that Sophie is anorexic. Did you already know that?" Dr. Marin asked.
"Yeah, we got her a therapist but she refused." Ash muttered, intertwining his hand with mine.
"Okay. I'm not sure if I should tell you this or if I should let Miss. Irwin tell you herself."
"Tell us what? What's going on? Please, just tell us." Cried Ash.
"It seems that, when the nurses were running tests on Miss. Irwin, that she had some cuts on her wrists and her stomach."
Ashton looked purely horrified. I'd walked in on her cutting but I hadn't told Ash yet.
"Oh.. I didn't know that." He said. "Thank you, Doctor." I said as we stood up and shook hands.

A few minutes later.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.
"I'm fine. Why didn't you react? When the doctor told us she'd been hurting herself, why didn't you seem upset?" He asked. This was all getting out of hand now.

I suppose I should tell Ashton about my past... I just hope he will understand.
