Sophie's POV

Calum and I were sat in his car, Cal was driving me to my therapy appointment. I was really nervous, so I did what I did every time I get nervous, I put my earphones in and Treat You Better by Shawn Mendes blasted through the earphones. The lyrics were so beautiful and I just love the song. I looked down to my phone and a text from Luke came through saying "Hey, beautiful. Are you okay?" Which immediately made me blush. Calum looked over to me and saw me smiling.

I responded with a: "Hi, yeah, I'm okay, thank you, how about you?" And then locked my phone.

"What's made you so smiley?" Calum asked, stopping at the red light.

"Just someone." I replied, a deep blush coating my cheeks.

"Is it Luke by any chance?"

"W-what? H-how do y-?" I stuttered, feeling the anxiety racing through my body.

"Calm down, breathe, I guessed it was Luke as I noticed you've been acting, I don't know, weirdly around each other."

"Oh, okay."

"What's going on between you two, anyways?"

"I kind of like him but I'm not sure if he feels the same. We've kissed, and each time it felt like the first time. I don't want to look like an idiot and do something I'll regret but if I explain this to Luke and Dad find out then it could ruin their friendship and even the band and I just don't know what to do anymore." I blurted out, allowing tears to roll down my face.

"Sophie, just calm down, okay? Listen, I don't think going to this therapy session is a good idea so I'll call the therapist and say you're sick or something. How about we go shopping or something?" Calum asked.

"Yeah, okay. Thanks Calum, shopping sounds good." I replied, giving him an awkwardly positioned hug from the passenger seat.

Sorry for so long for an update, I've been preoccupied with a lot of crap so I've decided to put this book on hold for a while because I just don't know where to take it after this.

I've come up with a few other story ideas, for example a Lashton or Malum fanfic so if anybody is reading this and wants to help out then just message me and we can sort something.

This update wasn't one of my best but here we go.
