Luke's POV

I was in the car on the way home with Michael from the supermarket when my phone rang. Being the responsible driver I am, I passed my phone to Michael and turned my attention back to the road.

"Hello, Luke's phone. Michael speaking....... What happened?....... Oh my gosh......... Are they okay?....... Where are they?....... We're heading there right now."

"What was that about, Mikey?"

"Drive to the hospital. Now. Ashton, Calum and Sophie have been in a car accident."

"What!? Okay, which way from here?"

"Left at the traffic lights and straight ahead."

The 15 minute car ride to the hospital was full of silent tears and heavy breathing from trying not to cry.

When we arrived, Michael ran in to find out where they are whilst I found a parking spot.

When I'd found one, I ran into the hospital to see Michael racing towards the stairs.

"MICHAEL! WAIT UP!" I called after him and he turned around.

"Are they okay?" I asked.

Michael kept walking up the staircase with me following close behind.

We reached floor 2B when Mikey turned off and went through a set of double doors.

"Sophie's room in 2B12. Calum's room is 2B13 and Ashton is in Intensive Care."

"Okay, so they shou- Intensive Care? Why is Ashton in Intensive Care?"

"He took a sharper hit than Sophie and Calum. They don't know when or if he will wake up."

"What? Ashton could never wake up from this? No, no, no, no, please Mikey, tell me you're lying!" I cried.

"I'm sorry, Luke, I wish I was lying."

I leaned against the wall and sat on the floor. I can't lose Ashton, he can't leave me.

"Luke, come on. I know you're worried about Ashton, I am too, but we need to go and see Cal and Soph. Come here."

I stood up as slowly as I could to avoid getting head rush and walked up to Michael. H e pulled me into a hug and then we carried on to find Calum's room.

We reached room 2B13 to see Calum, only to find that he wasn't there.....

I don't think I've ever updated a book so much in this amount of time but it feels good to have the ideas to write again.
