To Forget or Not To Forget

I have to admit.

I cannot forget you.

No matter how hard I try, you cannot get out of my mind.

Yes, you hurt me and crushed my heart into a million pieces.

But, I mean, how can you forget your real relationship with your crush?

How can you forget the first to admit to liking you?

How can you forget the first to kiss you on the cheek?

How can you forget the first to go on a "date" with you?

How can you forget the first to hold your hand?

How can you forget the first to ask you to dance?

How can you forget the first to hold you like he will never let go?

How can you forget the one who wrote poems about his emotions toward you?

How can you forget the first to say "I love you"?

You cannot forget the first, but everyone in between is gone like dust.

No matter if you say, "I don't want you to remember me,"

I won't forget.

I can promise you that.
