Winter Bells

It is crystal clear why I am here.

Snow falling gently down, like leaves in autumn.

The sky is glowing with a warm yellow colour.

A cool breeze making its way through the town.

Frozen icicles dangling from trusses and tree branches.

Everyone is much more comfortable inside, under their warm, cozy comforters, by a fireplace.

This winter is giving me a reason to become more closer to you,

Letting me feel your hot hands and soft sweater.

This winter is bringing more wishes in the air, that I hope will come true.

The furry coats and fuzzy mittens make you appear even cuter than usual.

Your dark black jacket matches with your deep sea blue eyes.

The way your hair is curled upward in a messy tangle only creates more craze inside of me.

Waiting outside your door, as falling snow touches my nose,

This is not how I planned it out to be.

The foot trail in the snow led me here.

It might be my heart following its own footsteps to its own faith,

Or the fact that I do not know where else to go.
