I kept looking.
I kept looking for you.
I kept looking for you in the halls,
To see if you would show up.
You did not.
My frown grew as the time passed by.
I know I should not be feeling these emotions around you, but I cannot help myself.
I cannot think of anyone else so perfect for me.
The way you smile at me when I tell a lame joke.
The way your eyes light up when we talk together.
The way you know exactly how to make me giggle like some girly-girl.
I cannot stop these crazy emotions.
I want to stop them, but at the same time, I do not.
I am crazy for you, so crazy for you.
That all I want to do is squeeze your hand because it is as soft as cotton.
All I want to do is ruffle your messy, brown hair.
All I want to do is cup your face and lean in...
All I want to do is kiss you and kiss you and kiss you.
However, you were not there,
You were not anywhere.
I missed you so much that my heart tightened knowing that part of my day was hollow,
As hollow as a log.
