"I like you!"
You spat those three words out when I did not want you to but you had to.
I wanted to you to wait,
To wait for the perfect moment.
When you grab me in your arms and hold me tight.
My head lying on your chest listening to your every beat.
The beat of a an innocent guy,
A strong guy,
A worthy guy.
So told me you will never let go,
Never hurt me,
Never leave me,
Never forget me,
Never hate me.
I wanted to you to kiss me ever so gently,
With fireworks, sparks flying.
I wanted my-our very first kiss to be magical,
Elegant,
Soft,
Meaningful,
Unforgettable.
I wanted you all for myself and for you to like me, and ONLY like me.
I imagined it to be snowing,
Icing my head to make me look like the Snow Princess.
You would wrap your hands around my waist.
I would breathe in your peppermint cologne,
And tell you, "You smell good."
That comforting smile you give me will fill me to the brim.
My heart will soar.
My stomach twisted in a million knots.
My feet shuffling shyly as I feel the urge to kiss you again.
I imagine you do.
That is what makes my fairytale so much more magical,
But maybe, it is better that moment was not perfect,
Because that is what made you my perfect guy.
