Now that Amanda knew exactly what she wanted to do, she needed to figure out a way to distract Daniel.  It wasn't going to be easy.  He was like Amanda in a lot of ways.  He was smart for his age.  In fact.  The two of them had the highest percentage in the class.  But Amanda knew she could pull it off.

As David seemed to be busy, it gave Amanda some time to plot against Victoria.  Hearing her father on the phone for a business call, Amanda snuck out of the house and made her way onto the sandy beach glancing out at the water.  She smirked a little to herself.  The plan if it followed through, would be her best prank yet.  Her thoughts got distracted when she heard a familiar voice nearby her.  "Earth to Amanda..."  She turns her head to see her friend Jack and smiles.  "Jack hey!"  Jack looks at Amanda with curiosity.  "Are you alright?"  "I'm fine."  She smiled.  "Did you have time to play for awhile?"  She asked hoping she could distract him.

After David was finished with the phone call, he made his way downstairs to see Amanda had disappeared.  She seemed to like to do that these days.  He glances out the window to see her and Jack playing on the beach. He makes his way outside and walks over to the two of them.  "Hey guys how's it going?"  He sits down next to the two of them.

"Everything is going great."  She said with a small grin.  David raises his eye slightly at his daughter's odd behavior.  As it began to get a little further into the evening, Jack decided to make his way back home.  Once David saw to it that Jack got home safe, David turned his attention back to his daughter.  "Come on sweetie."  Amanda follows him back into the house.

Once they made their way back into the house, David turned to look at Amanda.  "There is something that you aren't telling me.  You have been acting awfully strange and quiet these past few days.  Now tell me what's going on?"  He asks as the two of them sit down on the couch.

Amanda sighed a little.  "But I promised them I wouldn't tell..."  David raised his eye slightly.  "Wouldn't tell what Amanda?  Look.  I know you want to keep secrets.  But if it's something that is going to put someone in danger..."  Amanda hesitated a moment before she responded.  "Okay.  Well if you really want to know..."

David nodded in response waiting for his daughter to continue. "Go on Amanda.."  He said in a bit more stern voice.  "Daniel doesn't like you and Victoria together.  He told me he wants to plot something against you.  He said he was going to set it up to make Victoria believe you were seeing somebody else..."  David stayed silent for a few minutes.  "Uh huh..  I see..  I suppose I should have a talk with him huh?"  Amanda grinned a little hoping her father was buying her lie.

It was a brilliant beyond brilliant plan.  It would be enough distraction for David so she could get things set up to make Victoria look like the guilty one.  Victoria has no idea what she was getting into when she decided to try and enter into her family.  No one messes with her or her father, and Amanda was going to see to that.
