It had been a couple of weeks since Amanda had run into Daniel. She had of course made up some excuse that she decided to stay and continue to help her dad out while he was still recovering.
"I was thinking. I know we have been seeing each other for a little while now. So I was just kind of thinking. My mom's been sort of asking about meeting you. And I'd hate to have her corner you and question you without me." Daniel teased.
Amanda grinned a little. "Of course. I can't wait to meet her." It was part of everything she was looking forward to. She couldn't wait to see the bitches expression when she found out Daniel was dating someone like her. If only she could tell her who she really was. And in time she would. But it had to be at the perfect moment.
When Amanda made her way over to the Grayson mansion, she took a deep breath before knocking at the door. She wasn't sure why she felt so nervous. Part of her reasoning was because she was worried that Victoria would see right through her lie. She raises her hand giving a few gentle knocks at the door.
"Amanda hey." Daniel smiled as he opened the door to greet her. "Come right in." Amanda stepped inside the mansion once Daniel allowed her to do so. "She's in the living room. Follow me." Amanda glanced down at her blue dress that went down to her knees, straightening it first before she followed Daniel.
"Mom. This is Emily Thorne.. Emily. Mom. Or Victoria.." He gave a small swift hand motion as he introduced the two of them. Amanda couldn't believe she was staring Victoria directly in the eye all these years.
Amanda put up one of her best fake smiles and extended her hand. "Victoria it is so nice to finally meet you. Daniel had told me so much about you." Amanda said lying through her teeth. Victoria had a grimace on her face forcing herself to shake Amanda's hand for a split second. "Did he now? I wish I could say the same about you." She said a bit through gritted teeth. Daniel gave her a small glare. "Please behave mother..." Amanda gave a small smirk back in return. She loved watching Victoria struggle.
"So tell me a bit about yourself Emily. What exactly are your intentions with my son?" Victoria asked in her usual snobbish tone.
After Victoria made an excuse that she was tired and needed some sleep, Daniel ushered Amanda out of the house. He let out a small sigh. "I'm so sorry about that. My mother is like that with everyone.." Daniel stated. "Everyone?" Amanda raised her eye curiously thinking when he said that it meant with the other girls he brought home. Realizing what she was asking, Daniel looked somewhat embarrassed. "Oh. I mean.. I didn't mean..." Amanda laughed a little and gently placed her hand over his. "Relax Daniel. I was teasing." She said giving him a small wink.
Daniel let out a small nervous laugh. "You know. I never met anyone like you.." He said almost shyly. Not being his usual self. "I'm sure you have come across better." She teased. Daniel gives a slight shake of his head. He takes a deep breath and slowly steps close to Amanda, leaning in to give her a kiss. Amanda was taken aback at first by the gesture. She quickly recovers and slowly wraps her arms around him to return the kiss. After a few seconds, he pulls away and smiles. "Goodnight Emily.." "Goodnight Daniel." She smiled a little as she watched him leave.
