David knew exactly what he was going to do.  Once he was through with Victoria, she was going to wish she hadn't threatened or caused harm to his daughter.  He knew Amanda wasn't going to like it.  And he didn't either.  But it was the only way to keep an eye on her.  And if he told Amanda of the plan, he was certain she was going to ruin it and Victoria would find out.  Amanda was never good at keeping secrets.  Or so he thought.  He had to keep it to himself.

Since Amanda was still at school, he assumed that now was a better chance than any to put the plan into action.  He made his way over to the Grayson mansion.

As Victoria was about to sit down in her usual chair in the living room to enjoy her afternoon tea, she heard a knock at the door.  She narrowed her eyes as she got up.  She hadn't been expecting any company.  And David hadn't talked to her in a couple of weeks.

She looked surprised to see David standing at the door.  He took a deep nervous breath.  He had to play it cool or Victoria would catch on.  "I was hoping we could talk.  Discuss some things."  Victoria looked at him a bit suspiciously.  She hadn't expected to ever hear from David again.  But here he was at her doorstep.  She smirked a little.  "Step into my office..."  David walked into the house as Victoria closed the door behind them.

"So what do you think?"  David asked as he told her his suggestion.  Victoria stayed quiet a few minutes and took a deep breath.  "I'm just really shocked you want another chance.  I assumed you wouldn't speak to me for the rest of our lives."  "Amanda and I spoke and we have come to an understanding..."  Victoria seemed to consider it for a moment.  "I don't think she will ever like me David..."  David, though he hated to do so, placed his hand over Victoria's.  But he needed to make it look real.  "She said she would be willing to give it a try.  She knows how much I love you..."

Victoria looked even more shocked.  He had said the L word even with everything that had happened.  By the way he acted it was as if he had despised her.  Victoria nodded.  "I think we can get back to where we were if we were to take one day at a time..."  David smirked a little.  He stood up letting go of Victoria's hand for a split second.  "Shall we then?"  He holds his hand back out for Victoria to take.  Victoria accepted David's hand cautiously and let him lead her out of the house and to the beach house.  She was ecstatic that David had changed his mind.  She really had begun to care for him.  Even if there was just one minor interference.  Amanda.... Now all she had to do was discuss what was going on with Daniel.  She wasn't sure he would be too excited or thrilled to move in with the Clarke's.  But Victoria wanted to be with David more than anything.  And she would do whatever it took to get him to see that.
