After not having heard from Amanda for a couple hours, David began to suddenly get worried about her.  He knew it was most unlikely, but his first choice to call was Victoria.  "What?  Oh my god!"  Victoria said trying to sound shocked at the news after David had told her.  "No.  She's not here.  But if I hear from her I will most certainly send her your way.."

Daniel looked up as he heard his mom speaking and furrowed his eyes a little . "Is everything okay mom?"  Victoria turns slightly to see her son.  "Everything is fine sweetie.."  She said not wanting her son to catch on what was going on.

David after a couple of hours had called the police to put her in for a missing person's.  He knew that after the past couple days events she was just hiding somewhere because she was afraid.  But this was not like Amanda at all.  And he had received a call from the school that Amanda hadn't been in class all day.

David had gone out himself to make search rounds to places he thought Amanda might be hiding out but he couldn't see any sign of her.

With a few days gone by and still no sign of her, David was at his witt's end.  How could there be no trace of his daughter?  And the police never seemed to be of any help.  David sighed a little sitting down at the table after he had gotten ready to wait for Victoria to come over for their date.

Hearing the sound of the doorbell, David got up to go answer it letting Victoria inside.  "David..."  She hugged him pretending to look sympathetic.  "There's been no word at all?"  She asked.  "No.  No there hasn't.  I don't understand it..."  Victoria placed her hand over his.  "I'm sure they will find her.  Come.  Let's try to get our mind off things."  She said motioning him towards the kitchen to get the dinner set.

This was not how David wanted his date with Victoria to go. He was too worried, too distracted to strike up anything remotely to a decent conversation.  "You know what?  I'm going to freshen up a little better then why don't we go out for a walk?  Some fresh air might do you good.."  She said looking somewhat annoyed at how distracted from her David was.

David gave a small nod of acknowledgment.  "Alright..."  Victoria got up and left the kitchen forgetting to take her cell phone with and leaving it on the table.  As Victoria was gone, the sound of her phone going off caught his attention.  David, getting slightly curious, reached for the phone to see the hospital number calling her.  He narrowed his eyes now even more worried.  Was something wrong with Victoria?  Was she hiding something from him she didn't want him to know or was afraid to tell him for some reason?

David looked at the phone debating to let it ring or answer it.  He decided to let it ring seeing if it would go to voice mail.  When the message beeped alerting that they left a voice message, David glanced around to see if Victoria was coming back.  He opened up her phone and went to listen to the message going pale as he heard what was being said.

"I'm sorry that took so long.."  Victoria paled as she saw David turning around holding up her phone in the air looking at her with a very angry expression.  "What the hell is this Victoria!?"  He growled a bit at her.  Victoria closed her eyes and took a deep breath.  She kicked herself for doing something so stupid as to leave her phone when she knew there was a possibility that the institution would call.

"David.  It's not what it sounds like..."  "Really?  Because that's exactly what it sounds like!"  He glares pressing the reply hearing the message again in reguards to Amanda.  "Look.  I was just trying to help her. I didn't want her to have the same fate as her mother.  And you weren't listening to what I was trying to say..."  "Save it Victoria!  You had my daughter drugged!  She's not dangerous!"  He yelled.

"Look.  This all just got out of hand.  If..."  David took a few quick strides towards Victoria making her gasp and step back in shock at his actions.  "You're going to come with me to the institution and you are going to sign those papers to release her..."  David warned knowing full certain she had it where no one except her could release Amanda.

Without saying another word, David made sure Victoria was following him and got into the car.  Once he got to the institution, he quickly rushed into the building and demanded right away to see his daughter.

The nurse lead him to Amanda's room while Victoria signed the release papers.  As he opened the door he swallowed seeing where his daughter was. It was the same room he had checked her mother into after she had tried to drown Amanda.

Hearing the door open, Amanda pulled her head up quickly looking very afraid.  "Please don't hurt me!"  She said before she realized who it was.  David took a deep breath.  "Daddy!"  She cried once she saw who it was.  She hopped off the bed and quickly ran into his arms.  He bent down so he could lift Amanda into his arms.  "It's okay. I've got you.."  David said as Amanda began to cry.  "I want to go home.."  "I'm going to bring you home now..."

David exited the room with quick haste and saw that Victoria had finished completing the release papers.  "Let's go.."  He said to her in a cool voice still holding his daughter tight.  Victoria nodded not saying anything and exited out of the institution with David.  Once he dropped her off back at the mansion, he walked back with Amanda to the beach house.  "You're okay sweetie."  He said quietly feeling Amanda shaking with fear.  Once Amanda had settled down somewhat where she was able to fall asleep, David made his way downstairs and looked out the window staring across at the beach house to the Grayson mansion.  Victoria had no right to do such thing.  And David was going to make her see just what a huge mistake she had made.
