(Stops in a certain station)

"Dearest one,
Pagkababa ko ng van, nagkahalo-halo na yung kaba, kilig at tuwa ko. For the first time, pinayagan na tayong magdate sa labas. As in sa labas ng Broadway. Yes there were cameras around, but it was different."

Ang tungtungang bumuhat sa'tin

Di pa umaangat, loob ko'y nahulog na.🎶

"When you led the way to the amusement park,
I was torn between wanting to grab you by the hand and putting my arms around you. Lalo na with the ate who tried to kiss you. I am not usually like this pero, I don't even know why I go overdrive when it's about you. Being mobbed was okay. For the first time, someone became my personal haven. My sanctuary."

"The carousel ride was crazy. People laughed their asses off when you carried me like a ten-year old. But you know what? When you joked, 'Parang baby'- I wished I really was one. Your baby."

(Stops typing, downs the rest of her coffee by the bedside table)

"The bump car scenario was different. I really thought we'd ride the same car together. I was okay being in the passenger seat, and how I wished you would drive for me, kahit sa bump car man lang. But then again it was okay. Especially when you said, 'Uy seatbelt. Yung seatbelt.' I am usually a very careful driver, but I became careless for a second. You were always my gentle reminder. (Additional: Seryoso ako dun kay ateng tumitingin sayo sa bumpcar. Grr.)"

"The game booth was sweet. Although, I was wishing you'd really try and put some elbow grease into winning that huuuge stuffed toy. Not that I doubted your ability. I was just frustrated that we didn't have the leisure of time. But then, you provided me that moment to enjoy myself kahit maraming nakatingin. You were my genie."

Sigaw ng damdamin, ay mas tahimik pa sa hatinggabi

"I mentally kicked myself for the baby shoes part. I totally made a slip-up on that one. Bakit naman kasi may baby shoes sa amusement park souvenir shop diba? I planned on keeping that comment to myself, but my mouth always betrays me. You were the weakness I didn't know I had."

Ngunit parang ayoko na yatang bumaba🎶

"And then EKstreme Tower ride happened. Ang tapang ko pa diba, pero Lord, ikinakabit mo pa lang yung seatbelt gusto ko nang tumakbo. But I realized I have to man up (err-man up, for a girl? NVM) for the choices I make. Sabi ko dati, pag nakabalik ako ng EK, that ride won't be on my list anymore. At as usual, kinain ko na naman sinabi ko. Nakakabusog. Haha!"

"The ride made its way to the top. Seriously, nangangatog ako. I wanted to hold your hand. Pero...*sigh*. Alam mong duwag ako, at titingin pa sa baba kahit sinabi mong wag na,
Pero di mo alam, lahat yon napawi nung itinuro mo kung saan ka nakatira. You were the most beautiful distraction I've ever seen."

"Nung nakababa na tayo, ikaw ang nagsuot ng sapatos ko sa'kin. Cinderella moment as they call it-but You know what? Cinderella's my least favorite Disney Princess. Because she didn't have time. She always had to beat the clock. But then the redemption of her story was her prince. Her prince who found her shoe. You were my prince."

Ayoko na yatang bumaba🎶

"Like fairytales, we were nearing the end of the story. We rested for a while (BTW, your breezy moves sa grape slushie? Award.) and then boom. The Promise Ring. I've read the script and knew my lines, pero ikaw na yata ang hari ng sorprisa. I had to keep my emotions in check when you said, 'Kahit anong sabihin nila, Ikaw at ako, sabay tayo sa paglalakbay'. I was half hoping you'd actually slip the ring on my finger, but I guess it'd have to wait. I'd love to see more of your suprises. Pero you know what? You were the biggest surprise ever."

(Yawns, stretches)

"Dearest one, you were everything a girl can dream of. But I guess I'm just too shy to say it out loud. Pero naniniwala akong makakaya ko rin in the near future. Higit sa lahat...Alam mong naniniwala ako sa 'Walang iwanan, ikaw at ako', pero kailanman hindi mo malalaman- at di mo rin masusukat-kung gaano ko kagustong magkaroon naman ng 'Tayo'. But for now, I'd settle for this. Whatever we may call this thing going on. Whatever you call this great pounding in my chest when I am with you. Whatever you call this thankfulness that I have. And whatever you call this great longing I hold in my heart."
