“I am sorry. I just have this nightmare. I can’t get it out of my mind. I think it is a natural disturbance. I mean a sort of calling. I can also see you in there,” I pause and look at him. He seems so confused about what I say.
“Are you sure?” he asks me. He is unsure if what I am telling him is true. “Maybe it is just an illusion,”
“No, I am honest. You are the one who is in there. I can compare his eyes with your eyes. You have the same iris with him. I don’t know if he said that his name was the same as yours,” I confess.
“Aren’t you afraid of him?” he asks me with his eyes wide open, which keep on staring at me. I need to get rid of those eyes. They make me nervous all the time.
“Can you stop staring at me? I cannot concentrate on what I would like to say. It is hard for me to verbalize something,” I say. However, he doesn’t listen. His eyes are still looking at me. I am confused.
He moves closer and I lie my head down on his shoulders.
“I promise you one thing,” he says. I never ask him about it. I just listen to him. “I will never ever let anyone else hurts you. You are mine and I am yours and no one can ever break that bond between us, even death,”
I am stun by the word DEATH. I never thought that I will start to feel uncomfortable with every word that comes out from his mouth. They always make a sense.
