"Thanks for the ride Kayla!" I shouted as I slammed the car door shut. Kayla beeped the horn at me and then drove away from my house, leaving me alone.
I unlocked the front door and stepped inside, closing it behind me. I then raced upstairs to my room and threw my shopping bags onto the floor before crashing down onto my bed. I sighed from the sudden comfort I felt from my duvet and steadied my breathing. After a few moments of relaxing, I grabbed my laptop from my beside table and switched it on. Once it had loaded up, I logged onto YouTube to look at the progress of my cover video, not really expecting the views to have changed too much.
Boy was I wrong.
Already my video had gained over 500 views and I was pretty shocked with myself. I never expected it to become that popular. I was gobsmacked. Even the comments were full of lovely people all saying how well I did with the song and this made me feel very happy inside.
However, I then noticed a few more covers that had even entered into the competition by other people and their videos had a lot more views than mine did and overall they sounded a whole lot better.
I sighed to myself and closed my laptop down. It doesn't matter that I have over 500 views and a few comments. These people have nearly 1,500 views and people are literally commenting second after second!
The winner hasn't even been announced yet and I'm pretty sure with the way I'm going, I'm not even going to be in the running.
I shrugged my shoulders and laid back down onto my bed, after a few moments I had drifted off to sleep.A/n - hey there! I hope you guys are enjoying the story so far! This chapter is short I know but the next chapter is full of drama trust me! Be ready! Love you all! - Sarah 💕
