The plane journey was long and tiring. I managed to get some sleep on the flight but it didn't feel nearly enough for me to function properly. Tyler and Josh, however, were very much awake and very hyperactive.
I stretched my arms out as we stepped off the plane, letting out a slight squeak as I did so. Tyler came up behind me and wrapped his arms behind my waist.
"I'm so happy you came with us." He spoke, smiling into my neck and kissing my skin softy.
I blushed at the affection I was suddenly receiving and then chuckled at him.
"I'm glad I came too. It's a new adventure."

Once we had sorted out all of our luggage, we hopped into a taxi and headed back to their homes.
Since Tyler already had a place to stay out here, we decided it would be best if I moved in with him there, there was plenty of space for both of us and it saved us having to move around again.
Josh had his own apartment, but I could tell that he would be spending most of his time at Tyler's anyway.

"Welcome home!" Tyler announced as he opened the door to his apartment.
It was a fairly large place which I was quite happy about. I did not do well in cramped spaces.
I smiled at the apartment and headed inside, collapsing onto the couch and letting out a sigh.
"You like it here?" Tyler asked as he carried his luggage inside and closed the door behind me.
I snuggled into the couch and gazed up at him, "it's perfect."
He smiled and sat down beside me, pulling me into his side and rubbing his arm up and down my own.
"I'm surprised that Josh didn't come back here." I stated.
"He said he wanted to freshen up and stuff but he's gonna be over straight after." Tyler told me.
I laughed at his response, just as I thought, you could not keep them apart for five minutes.
"You know what would be really fun?" I spoke up, "if we had a party later tonight! A welcome home party, if you will."
Tyler smiled at the idea, "that sounds awesome! I can call up some people and let them know!"
And with that, Tyler rose to his feet and began texting and calling lots of different people to tell them about the party.
I checked the time on my watch, 3:00pm, that gave me a few hours to take a nap.
I snuggled back down into the couch and closed my eyes as the sound of Tyler's voice faded away.

"Amanda." I heard a faint voice speaking to me, I then felt someone shaking me slightly shortly after.
I slowly opened my eyes to see Tyler standing above me, he was dressed in a white shirt and black skinny jeans.
"The party starts in an hour, you better go get ready." He smiled.
I yawned and stretched my arms out, I then sat up on the couch and nodded in response to Tyler and I then headed into our bedroom to get myself ready.

I was still getting ready when I heard lots of people beginning to arrive. I began to feel nervous at all of the new voices I could hear. Some sounded awfully familiar which made me even more nervous.
I took one last look at myself in the mirror and smiled to myself, tucking a loose strand of my now curled hair behind my ear.
I then stepped out of the bedroom and headed into the main room, I spotted Tyler instantly and so I headed over to him, tapping him on the shoulder.
He turned around and then looked me up and down with wide eyes.
"Woah." He breathed. I blushed at his remark and then lowered my head to hide my now reddened cheeks.
"And who is this lovely lady?" I heard a sweet voice ask Tyler. I looked up to be met with a warm, friendly face and I instantly felt safer.
"Mom, this is Amanda, Amanda, this is my mom, Kelly."
I smiled at her and held out my hand, but instead she pulled me into a motherly hug and I smiled even more as I hugged her back. I was glad that she approved of me already.

As I walked around the party with Tyler, I met so many new people, including some familiar faces, one of those being Brendon Urie who was spending most of his night playing beer pong with Josh.
"I'm calling it Brendon, you're cheating for sure!" Josh yelled in frustration as he downed yet another cup of beer.
"Dude, I'm not cheating, I'm pretty sure you can't cheat at beer pong. You're just not very good on your aiming." He chuckled.
I watched as Brendon sunk each one of Josh's remaining cups until he won the game.
"I give up man. Game over." Josh sighed, shaking hands with Brendon. That's when I suddenly got a burst of confidence.
"Now, now Josh. Don't back out yet. I got this."
I stated, stepping between their hand shake.
Brendon raised his eyebrows at me. "Amanda! Good to see you! I haven't seen you since Warped! And you're dating Tyler? Small world."
I nodded at him, "it's good to see you too! But it's gonna be even better when Josh and I kick your butt."
Brendon's eyes widened, "woah, okay then, let's do it!"
The game went on for a while, Brendon sunk a lot of our cups, but then Josh and I managed to get him down to his last one. The only thing was that I had taken most of Josh's drinks as he was quite drunk already, and so I was feeling a bit...well...hammered.
"Don't worry Josh, I've got this!" I cried with enthusiasm as I launched the ball and watched as it hit the table and landed straight into Brendon's last cup.
"WE DID IT!" Josh cried, giving me a high ten, he then picked me up and spun me around in the air as he chanted about our victory.
"Yeah yeah yeah, well done guys. Good game." Brendon stated as he downed his beer and then shook our hands.
"You too Urie, you too." I beamed.

The more the night progressed, the more alcohol I consumed, and the more alcohol I consumed, the more I began to dance like an idiot.
"Tyler!" I cried as I found my boyfriend grabbing himself another beer from the cooler.
I latched my arms around him and buried my head into his back.
"Hey, there you are! I heard you kicked Brendon's butt with Josh at beer pong." He laughed.
I nodded into his back, "mhmmm" I dragged out.
"And are we now a bit drunk?" He mocked.
"Mmmmmhmmmmmm!" I dragged out even longer.
"I love you though, you're so great." I added, smiling into his back.
Tyler chuckled and pulled me round so I was facing him, "I love you too, darling."
"Let's dance!" I cried as I pulled him over to where people were dancing.
I then started to grind against him, lifting my arms up and flipping my hair from left to right.
Tyler chuckled as he placed his hands on my waist, helping me to sway my hips.
It was if I was lost in time, lost in the moment. But soon that moment came to a halt when my head began to start spinning uncontrollably.
"Tyler." I stated as I stopped my actions.
He looked at me with a puzzled expression but then quickly nodded as he realised what I was getting at. He then led me to the balcony of his apartment and shut the door and closed the blinds from the inside so no one could see us.
I fell onto my knees and grabbed an old bucket that was sitting on the ledge in between some plant pots.
I then coughed and coughed until finally I was being sick.
Tyler grabbed my hair and held it out of my face.
"There, there." He spoke softly as he rubbed my back in small circles.
Once I was finished being sick, I collapsed onto my side and huddled myself into a ball.
"I'm sorry." I sighed, shaking slightly from the cold breeze outside.
"What for? You've done nothing wrong sweetheart." Tyler smiled warmly as he continued rubbing my back.
"I thought I ruined your night. This is so embarrassing."
"Nonsense. You're fine. But I think we should get you to bed." He told me.
I nodded and raised my arms up so he could carry me inside.
"Thank you, Ty." I smiled. "I love you."
