Kylo's POV:

The next morning I awake, the children still in the incubator. I quickly take the girl into my arms and make my way to the hangar. I had to get her to Rey.

Rey. Meet me on Takadona.

Why?!

I'm bringing something to you. Don't worry. I come alone.

And with that I carefully loaded my daughter and I into the ship and blasted off to Takadona.
••••
I arrive there within hours thanks to light speed and I grab Leia, beginning to look around for Rey. I hear a lightsaber ignite behind me and I quickly turn, shielding my daughter with my arms. My eyes meet Rey's.

"Rey. Please. Take Leia. I need to get her away from Mae." I slowly stand, gently placing the baby girl into Rey's arms. Rey's eyes widen and she cradled the girl, looking up at me.

"Why must I take her?" I sigh gently, tears coming to my eyes.

"Luke has for seen that Mae will turn to the dark side, taking the children with her if near." Rey nods, looking to me with understanding eyes. "Okay Kylo. I'll take her back to the resistance." I nod, leaning down and kissing Leia's forehead and began walking back to my ship. Once secured I start the ship and take off, tears streaming down my face.
••••
Back at the base, I find Mae holding Jerec, tears streaming down her face. "The doctors told me Leia didn't make it." I sigh, slightly great full they didn't tell her about what I did. She looks up at me and motions me to sit with her. I gently sit next to her, taking my son into my arms.

He had some black hair and his eyes were ultramarine like Mae's. He looked so much life me, but I could feel he would end up acting like her when he was older.

I also knew Mae would absolutely kill me if  she ever found out I'm the reason she'll never see our daughter again. Hopefully never again anyway. Though I can feel it destroying her that she has now lost a second child. And so soon after Anakin.

Those thoughts buzz through my head as I fall asleep.
••••
I wake up hours later, Mae feeding Jerec and and smiling as she feeds him. My heart flutters at the sight, but I know what must come. I continue to watch, slowly wrapping my arms Mae and pulling her close. She smiles, continuing to feed Jerec as I held her.

Once Jerec is done she gently places the child in my arms. I smile wide, rubbing my thumb softly against his jaw. His tiny hand reaches up. wrapping around my finger softly. My heart fills with love for my son as I continue holding him close to me.

"My little boy. My force I love you." I whisper, still holding him close to me. I slowly stand, walking to the window and gently talk to him about the forest outside. His little coos kept a smile on my face as I continued showing him the forest. "Baby Jerec. Oh how I love you." I kiss his forehead, rubbing his back softly.
