Mae's POV:

I cradle a two week old Jerec in my arms as I stroll through the gardens. I quietly talk to the child about the gardens, not wanting him to miss a single detail.

Though, I really wish I could be holding Leia in my arms along with her brother. Tears prick my eyes as I think of the daughter I lost shortly after labor.

I continue talking to my son, smiling softly as he coos back at certain things I say. I hear footsteps and turn around to see Kylo. His eyes light up at the sight of Jerec and I quickly hand him Jerec and he takes him, rubbing his fingers along the small child's back.

"Mae, tonight I'll take Jerec and you can train Alex, okay?" I nod softly at the proposal. "I really do need to train him."

Once in the training room, I smile, hugging Alex tightly as he runs and collapses into my arms. "Master. I've missed you so much." I smile at his words and slowly pull back.

"And my young Alex I've missed you too. Let's get started with training shall we?" Alex quickly nodded and stood, igniting his lightsaber.

After our duel he's panting I chuckle softly. "I guess you weren't ready to face me." He groans in frustration and looks up at me. "I just strive to be as good as you master." His voice was soft as he stood, gently brushing himself off.

"Well my apprentice, you have years to go before then." I chuckle softly, ruffling his hair. Alex sighed and reignited his lightsaber. "Before we start master, I think there's something you should know about Kylo Ren." He took a breath and I arched a brow. "Oh really?" Alex quickly nodded vigorously. But nothing, could prepare me for what came next.

"He took Leia away."
