I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I turned over almost hitting Lucas in the face before looking at my phone. My alarm reading talent show time! I got up having a shower before straighting my hair and putting on a pair of light blue short mid rise shorts a black strappy crop top and a floral kimono. I looked in the mirror Appling my accessories and my make up before Lucas turned around slapping my ass.

Riley: what was that for?

Lucas: just cause. Sorry I couldn't help myself.

Riley: I'm really worried about today. I dunno if I can do it.

Lucas: look Riley I've been thinking and after yesterday and you was so supportive of me. I'll sing with you if you want?

Riley: are you sure?

Luce: I'm positive. I'd love to.

Riley: well come on then we better get practicing.

Me and Lucas sat at my piano going over and over the song before getting up and going to school.

Shawn: what time do I need to be at school?

Riley: 12:30 make sure Lucas' mom comes too.

All morning at school I was stressing. I couldn't contrate on my work. I kept on looking over at Lucas. I was pretty sure he was just as nervous as me
If not more. It was cute. I've never seen him like this.

Me and Lucas were standing back stage. No one knew he was going to be singing with me. I looked through the curtain to see Shawn and Mrs. Friar taking their seat in the middle three rows back. I could now feel the butterfly's. Me and Lucas were doing vocal warm-ups just as they presented the first act. We were act 4. I just before we were about to go on I turned over to Lucas.

Riley: are you sure you can do this?

Lucas: with you. I can do anything. Maya and Farkle are here. Shawn and my mom. I'm more than ready.

Just as Lucas stopped talking I heard my name being called. Because no one knew Lucas was joining me. We sat on the stools on the stage just as the music started to play the curtain started to open.

I looked up giving Lucas a big smile before looking over to the audience. I saw Shawn clapping. Lucas' mom gobsmacked. Maya standing up clapping. Farkle and the rest of the audience in shock. No one but me and Maya knew Lucas could sing like that. I was so proud of him. Lucas took my hand into his as we quickly made it off stage.

Mrs. Mayer: You guys. You were amazing.

Lucas: thanks.

Riley: that means  a lot to us.
