The next day I woke up feeling a lot better. I had done one more thing I was terrified to do. I got out of bed heading to the bathroom. Took a quick shower then started to get dressed for school. It was getting colder outside so I put on a pair of black tight that were jet black until mid-thigh when then turned into more of a sher black with love hearts. I black skirt. A long white crop top type thing which was a bit baggy and a dark red scarf. I added all my accessories before running out of my house to get to Lucas before he left for school.
Walking down the hall with my hand in Lucas ' my eyes locked on a poster,
Riley: hey look.
I pointed to the poster on the wall to make Lucas look at it.
Lucas: oh yeah the summer talent show. They do it every year.
Riley: I'm going to put my name down.
Lucas: are you sure?
Riley: only if you watch me.
Lucas: okay look, I'll go see you sing if you watch me in the big game tomorrow? And maybe even wear my jersey?
Riley: I'd love to!
I gave Lucas a kiss before writing my name and disappearing into my classroom.
When I got home I burst through my front door making Shawn jump out of his skin.
Riley: SHAWN, SHAWN, SHAWN GUESS WHAT!
Shawn: WHAT RILEY??
Riley: I PUT MY NAME DOWN FOR THE TALENT SHOW!!
Shawn: Riley! That's great! Your gonna showcase your talent!
Riley: yeah well since I bailed doing the summer musical I figured I would do this now my confidence is up.
Me and Shaw started jumping up and down as Lucas walked in
Lucas: why are we so happy.
Riley: about the talent show!
Lucas: yay! And hear is my football Jersey for tomorrow.
Riley: why thank you.
Lucas: you are very welcome. I gotta shoot off and get some sleep before the big game tomorrow. Your welcome to come to Shawn. I'll see you tomorrow morning baby. Love you.
Riley: love you too.
I felt Lucas kiss my forehead before looking into my eyes and planting a big kiss on my lips. As he left I ran into my room sitting at the piano. It felt like years since I had sat hear. I needed to practice!
