After school me and Lucas drove up to the cemetery. I unbuckled my seat belt and sat there for a second before taking a deep breath and getting out the car. I noticed I did that whenever I got nervous.

I took little baby steps before becoming straight in front of my mom and dad's grave. I looked up not being able to look right at the grave, as I felt Lucas grab my hand and squeeze it tight. I looked down as a tear fell down my face. I didn't bother to wipe it away.

Riley: I don't know what to say.

Lucas: Read them your letter.

Riley: yeah okay.

I reached in my back pocket grabbing the piece of paper that I had written my letter on.

Riley: Erm, yeah okay. So this took me a long time to finally right but I did it. Thanks to my amazing boyfriend Lucas. You know Lucas. He's my boyfriend. The one who I'm head over heals for. Anyway he told me to write anything so that's what I've done. Hi mom and dad. I know you have been watching over me since you passed and I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I did things that probably made you cry up there. I was in a lot of pain. I'm a lot better now. Lucas and Shawn are helping me a lot. Mr. Feeney gave me the box. I love it so very much. I wear a lot of your things everyday mom. Even if grandma Amy doesn't like it.
I wish you was still here.

Lucas Pov.

I was stood beside Riley as she was reading her letter to her mom and dad as I was watching her. I could feel the tears rolling down my face. It made me so emotional. I'm just grateful that she's strong enough to do this.

Riley: I hope you guys are having fun up there. Your loving daughter. Riley
Ps, I brought you guys your favorite flowers. White and red roses.

As she turned around I gave her a big hug just letting her cry into my chest. As she pulled away wiping her eye's.

Lucas: Erm hey, so I'm Lucas. Riley boyfriend.. I'm looking after her down here. I like her alot. I've heard alot about you guys. It's only been great things. Wish I could have met you. Lucas.

Riley just looked at me gobsmacked. I knew she wasn't expecting that. I took her into another hug. Just getting tear stains on my shirt.

Riley: what was that.

Lucas: just introduceding myself.

Riley: I loved it. It was very thoughtful.

Lucas: i love you!

I saw Riley look at me with her big brown eyes. They started to widen.

Riley: you mean that.

Lucas: ofcores. And what better way to tell you than infront of your parents.

Riley: I love you too!  So much!

I took her into a kiss. My hands placed firmly on her waist. Gosh she was perfect to me!
