Riley: Why are boys so complicated?

Shawn: Because we're boys. Now what's bugging you?

Riley: Lucas said he still loves me.

Shawn: i don't see the issue

Riley: the issue is he cheated on me. He CHEATED ON ME! you can't just say you love someone after that!

Shawn: Why not?

Riley: Hav you ever had your heart broken? Have you ever had your heart ripped out of your lungs then thrown onto the ground like it's nothing? 

Shawn: Yes...In College, My ex-girlfriend Angela

Riley: What happened?

I sat down on the couch next to Shawn as he told me about the big story of him and Angela and how he felt like he had to be with her cause My dad had my mom and that influence him, he felt like he needed someone cause my father had someone but he learned that maybe that wasn't the way to go and he's been pretty much single ever since.

Shawn: That's why if you truly love him, chase him, cause you only get one shot at true love!

Riley: Thanks, Shawn.

I went to give him a hug as I pulled away smerking at him 

Shawn: What's so funny kiddo?

Riley: God, I need to get you laid!

Shawn: I'll have you know I'm just fine!

Riley: Yeah okay, well I'm going over to Lucas' enjoy your right hand!

Shawn: I'm your garden that's an inappropriate thing to say.

Riley: Oh god, I see you as my brother... Bye!

I left my house running over to Lucas' as full speed banging on his door until he opened it.

Lucas: Riley, what you need?

Riley: You!

I saw a big ass smile grow on his face as he opened the door fully letting me walk in.

Lucas: What do you mean?

Riley: Oh Lucas I wanna get back with you, Will you go back out with me?

Lucas: Yes totally let's go right now, I don't wanna wait another second 

Riley: I can't now but what about tomorrow?

Lucas: Perfect.

Riley: So like 8?

Lucas: 8 it shall be.

He used his fancy British voice as I broke into fits of laughter before I felt my house running right into my room seeing Maya sat at my bay window with tears in her eyes.

Riley: Maya what's wrong?

Maya: Me, and Farkle broke up.

Riley: Come here!

I took her into a big hug as we spent the rest of the night picking out my outfit for my date tomorrow with Lucas and eating ice cream while watching netflix.
