Chapter 3: Flashbacks and fights

Via's POV

"Come on girls, more power, more energy, but give me a smile. Fake it 'till you make it, come on, 1, 2, 3 better than that! Come on! More power!" I commanded through the microphone. These girls are wimps.

Or maybe it's just me.

Okay, fine! I have to admit. I'm somewhat venting out my anger on the girls during the practice. You can't really blame me, either. I'm on rage mode for a perfectly good reason.

Last night. Okay, here it goes.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*Flash back*
Last night was perfect, Lance and I confessed to each other and we enjoyed a really delightful meal.
My evening was perfect.
Lance made sure to take me home before nine. We finished dinner by 7:45 and we decided to stroll on a beach nearby. The scenery was so perfect.
Last night was perfect.
And as usual, I spoke too soon.
Lance brought me home by nine o'clock sharp. I thought by then I was safe from the wrath of whomever. Be it Austin, or Dustin. I didn't give a damn.
I entered the living room like I normally would. I turned on the lights in the living room, and Dustin, Austin and even Mackenzie took me by surprise. I think I even jumped all of the sudden seeing them shooting me those looks. Austin looked like he was examining my expression, Dustin looked all worried, and Mackenzie looked disappointed.
"Hi."
And after I said that one word, the nonstop chattering of three mouths immediately broke the silence.
Blah, blah, blah, what I did was very dangerous. Blah, blah, blah, I kept them very worried. Blah, blah, blah, where have I been?
"Shut up!" I shrieked, before turning calm again. "Okay, can I please tell you what happened anyway, before you all realize that you're just exaggerating things and appreciate the fact that I'm here, in one piece and happy." I said slowly, setting the mood.
Then I told them everything, from visiting the Venema's duplex, then walking then the Lance incident and how my evening went perfect.
"You're still grounded. I don't care! You did something that gave us too much distress." Dustin rebutted.
"Oh, and this is my fault, and who gave you the right to ground me anyway?" I was getting seemingly pissed off by that time.
"I did." I heard a voice from behind.
Uh-oh. That voice belonged to my mom.
"H-hi m-mom." I mumbled.
"Young lady, we have a lot to discuss, come with me." And I followed her, which led me into her office room in our house.
*swallow* Mom only uses the term 'young lady' when I'm introuble, so in short, I'm in trouble.
"So, you're seeing, this guy?" She asked, sounding very suspicious.
"Not yet. Probably after Friday." I told her honestly. I wanted to be open to my mom so she wouldn't think of me as a liar.
"Okay, and you're serious about this, Via?" She continued to ask.
"Yes." I'm being very frank here, work with me mom!
"Okay, but you're still grounded, because you should've told us where you were. Something bad could've happened to you and we'd be left clueless about your whereabouts. Tell your brothers next time, okay?"
